New York Times Struggles to Candy-Coat Obama's GM Disaster
Patriot Room ^ | June 1, 2009 | Bill Dupray

Try as they might, there isn't enough candy in the world to fully coat this one. Obama's rhetoric simply doesn't match up with his actions, and the New York Times knows it.

Let's start with GM's CEO himself, who also happens to be the CEO of the United States. We have The One's professed reluctance to take over two of the big three automakers.

“We are acting as reluctant shareholders, because that is the only way to help G.M. succeed,” Mr. Obama said . . ..

Hmmm. How very Chavezian. A private company can only succeed if the government steps in? If that is true, then why does GM need to be the one that is saved? What about these other companies that filed for bankruptcy last year?

The shareholders will be wiped out.

We had to destroy the village in order to save it...

Swap candyman for Obamaman and we can all sing along..

Bill: Who can take a sunrise
Sprinkle it in dew
Cover it in chocolate
and a miracle or two?

The candyman
The candyman can
The candyman can cause he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good

Who can take a rainbow
Wrap it is a sigh
Soak it in the sun
and make a strawberry lemon pie?

Children: The candyman?

Bill: The candyman
The candyman can
The candyman can cause he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good

Willy Wonka makes
Everything he bakes
Satisfying and delicious
Talk about your childhood wishes
You can even eat the dishes

Who can take tomorrow
Dip it in a deam
Seperate the sorrow
And collect up all the cream?

The candyman

Children:Willy Wonka can

Bill: The candyman can cause he mixes it with love
And makes the world taste good
And the world tastes good cause the candyman thinks it should

“Don't the American consumers decide which retail products are gone forever, by not buying them?”
Nope, sorry. American consumers haven't been the final arbiter for several decades. Congress has been playing games with the American consumer for years by essentially changing the rules of the game at every whim. Obama may be the most despicable lying despot at the moment, but there are plenty of accomplices to share the blame. We the people must take back control from these idiots if we are to survive.

Of course, as anybody who’s read “American Psycho” knows, a chocolate-coated urinal cake is still...a chocolate-coated urinal cake.

As Americans, do we now have standing to sue the White House for anti-trust violations?

I would think we could Sue for monopolistic unfair labor practices if Obama continues his “Chicago” management style.
But then I’m still waiting for the lawsuit for Obama’s violation of Contract law on the Chrysler Bankruptcy.
What makes this Ignorant Idiot bulletproof against the Constitution and the Laws of the Land ? Tis a mystery.
