Secretary of State Karen Handel, in a statement released by her office, noted:
DOJ has thrown open the door for activist organizations such as ACORN to register non-citizens to vote in Georgias elections, and the state has no ability to verify an applicants citizenship status or whether the individual even exists. DOJ completely disregarded Georgias obvious and direct interest in preventing non-citizens from voting, instead siding with the ACLU and MALDEF. Clearly, politics took priority over common sense and good public policy.
Many contend that the reason for this action by the current administration is to further skew the demographics in their favor, thus, making it easier to secure the required votes which would keep them in power for generations to come and would allow the current political agenda associated with the Obama administration to be advanced even further!
Why cant our government address the core issue here? LEGAL vs ILLEGAL
So, why am I just sitting here watching my country disappear before my eyes?
This is crazy.
is it not unconstitutional for non-citizens to vote? and should not any state be responsible for determining who is eligible? and why do i keep expecting this administration and its hitmen to respect the constitution or voting rights laws?
Because sitting & watching NEVER accomplishes anything.
Something to do until Amerikan Idle comes on...

Response: After looking at who is president and who is Atorney General the DOJ's action amazes people? The only people deceived about racial matters are whites. People are watching a coup unfold.
Im sure Acorn registers them for Selective Service too./SARC
ATTENTION, UNDOCUMENTED MALES
& IMMIGRANT SERVICING GROUPS!
If you are a man ages 18 through 25 and living in the U.S., then you must register with Selective Service. Its the law. You can register at any U.S. Post Office and do not need a social security number. When you do obtain a social security number, let Selective Service know. Provide a copy of your new social security number card; being sure to include your complete name, date of birth, Selective Service registration number, and current mailing address; and mail to the Selective Service System, P.O. Box 94636, Palatine, IL 60094-4636.
Be sure to register before your 26th birthday. After that, its too late!
Selective Service does not collect any information which would indicate whether or not you are undocumented. You want to protect yourself for future U.S. citizenship and other government benefits and programs by registering with Selective Service. Do it today.
You do perceive what is happening, don't you?
The only question is at what point will the people have had enough, especially if we cannot rely on the ballot box for legitimate CHANGE.
So the State’s response is.. .. ... nothing????
Come on guys, FIGHT THIS DISASTER !
You may register and vote if you are:
A United States citizen.
A Kansas resident.
At least 18 years old on election day.
Now how in the world are we to prove lines 1 and 3 without seeing a birth certificate (and naturalization papers if needed) at registration.
These people are insane!
So why doesn’t the state tel the DOJ to go directly to HELL!
Silly!
The Constitution is whatever Justice Sotomayor wants it to be. Ans as a wise Latina woman, she wants illegal Hispanics to have the right to vote.
Some of you Freepers can be so dumb! (/sarc /cyn)
Obama reverses Bush immigration lawyer rule
AP News
Wednesday, June 03, 2009
A rule limiting access to lawyers for immigrants facing deportation has been tossed out by the Obama administration.
The rule was issued in the waning days of the Bush administration, angering immigrants rights groups that immediately sought to persuade the incoming Democratic administration to discard it.
On Wednesday, Attorney General Eric Holder did just that, saying he is vacating the order issued by predecessor Michael Mukasey which said that immigrants facing deportation do not have an automatic right to an effective lawyer.
Holder said he is also instructing the Justice Department to begin working on a new rule.
Charles Kuck, president of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, called the move “the beginning of the restoration of due process in the immigration system.”
Thank you
