No, the references serve only as a reminder (as if we needed one) that when Democrat invokes Jesus the MSM hails him/her as "a person of faith" but when a Republican does the same thing he/she is labeled a "Jesus Freak" and someone who is likely to conduct foreign policy by consulting the Book of Revelation.

Matthew 15: "8": This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

President Bush's faith is at the core of his identity - period. He didn't politicize the name of Christ.

That is one question I cannot answer, but I do know he went to Rev. (?) Wright's God D*** America church for over 20 years. He also said he never heard his sermons demeaning America, so why should I now believe he can use Jesus in a conversation.
