Ever since Leno won the Tonight Show gig, Letterman has really become bitter. Leno even talked about this at length, and invited Letterman on his show to patch things up. For me, I honestly don’t know what the big deal is. It’s just a friggin’ show. Letterman got his own show with CBS that was still just as popular with Leno (especially with CBS’s popular shows leading-in) and he still makes millions of dollars. It’s just sad what Letterman has become. Growing up in the 80s, you just wanted to stay up and watch him, he had the mousy curly hair and the warm smile, kind of looked like a little kid at times. C’est la vie.
TOP 10 REASONS I QUIT WATCHING LETTERMAN
#10 He USED to be funny, a long time ago
#9 He needs new writers, the ones he has now just suck
#8 Waaay too many ‘insider’ jokes, like we care about NYC
#7 Stupid human tricks - nuff sed
#6 DId mentions he’s just not that funny?
#5 Guest bands no one has ever head of
#4 THe bald guy is just sooooo wierd - creeps my out sometimes
#3 Really bad bumper music
#2 No name guests pimping thier movies or whatever
THe #1 reason I don’t watch Letterman
He is just not that funny
Letterfag was talking about Willow, not Bristol.
Excellent Top Ten list. You should send it to him...
"...but these go to 11".
It would only take 2-seconds..
Some things, like fine whiskey, should be savored.
Yeah but I thought the additional time might be good therapy for the both of us.
Put Letterman in a room alone with Todd Palin...and watch the liberal shiite himself and cry for his mommy.
This is a sick testimony to what entertains the American people. Did ya hear them laugh and applaud? It’s not Letterman, it is the people, incidentally, where is ARod on this? A statement from him condeming this would be nice. How about the advertisers, do they think this is ok?
I listened to Letterman do the top ten reasons...he was clueless...just reading the script...some scumbag hollywood writer wrote the script.
He is an adiot, nevertheless
I could never really stand Letterman simply because he has never done satirical humor, i.e., taking an element of truth and stretching it. His brand has always been ridicule which I don't find to be funny. He typically stoops to cruel mockery as opposed to good natured spoofing.
