Way cool. I can’t believe MSNBC did such a nice job. I didn’t detect any sneering. He’s looking good — and fit — for a geezer, and his “boys” were pretty funny about it, too.

Wonder what the reaction would be in the Obama household if Sasha and Malia asked something like this: Dad, why haven't you jumped out of a plane? (Can you hear the stony silence!)

Dad, why haven't you jumped out of a plane? Obama is too much of a sissy to jump out of a plane.
Did you see his picture hanging curtains?

"Just Cause You're An Old Guy You Don't Have To Sit Around Drooling In The Corner"
I'm happy for him that he can do stuff like this, but this was a stupid thing to say. I am willing to bet that most old folks who sit around "drooling" would rather be skydiving, but they haven't been as fortunate in their health as Bush Sr. Bush Sr. should be thanking God (and the access to premium health care that his wealth has allowed him) that he is healthy enough to be able to do this rather than acting as if he has some superior outlook on life. Sometimes, you just get lucky.

He's gonna do a HALO drop into NoKo -- just as soon as pizza night is over.

41 has always been one of the “good guys”. If he was still alive you could ask George Markos. He was one of 41’s best friends. I am not sure if 41’s good luck started when put himself in harms way for our country and survived ejecting from a shot-up fighter over the Pacific or when he met Barbara.

It would be poetic justice for him to have a stroke, over which he would of course have no more control than those others who have had one, and see how much he likes sitting and drooling in a corner. As usual, he confuses good luck with personal virtue. Thoughtless a-hole. Read my lips, poppy.

Yeah, it probably gave him the energy to say what he did about Sotomayor NOT being racist and how terrible republicans were to criticize her for her statements. I don't care what the old RINO does or doesn't do.

He's certainly done some fine service for this country, although I'm not entirely happy with his presidential record, but I'm not sure what that has to do with my earlier comment. George HW Bush is able to skydive at 85 partly because he was lucky in his health situation. He apparently has good genes and, other than his time in the military, has not had to engage in health-degrading work, such as digging in a coal mine. His statement suggests that he has overlooked the "lucky" aspect of his ability to skydive at 85, and instead attributes it solely to his superior positive attitude. If you are hit with Alzheimer's or a stroke at 80, are you supposed to buck up and just "get out there and do something"?

You two are pathetic.
My 96-year-old grandmother (who survived a stroke), my 78-year-old mother (who is suffering from Alzheimers), my almost 80-year-old father (who is still coaching HS basketball after two bouts with cancer) and ALL of my octogenerian friends, relatives and colleagues understood exactly the message that President Bush 41 was attempting to communicate and applaud him for it!

Impressive: Another purposely simplistic analysis of President Bush’s CNN comments . . . Did you even bother to listen to the interview or did you simply form your opinion based on the distortions of others (MSM or FR)?

Listened to his words, and saw them in print. If you can’t understand English it isn’t my fault, but yours. Quit drinking the cool aide. He betrayed conservatives when he was pres and he is still doing it. The fact that he dumped the NRA because they called government officials Jack Booted Thugs(and were truthful about it)didn’t win any prizes with me and many others either.

Hey, thanks for that valuable input. Say hi to all of your octogenarian relatives for me.

One bails out of an Avenger; a torpedo bomber not a fighter, one does not eject from an Avenger.
