this is an interesting read. i was doing a search on obama’s early years and this popped up. looks like all 440 pages are digitized.

not that big of a deal, is it? his father was a socialist. or several of his papers were extremely favorable to socialist economics, at any rate.
His drinkin’ buddy, Frank Marshall Davis, was a member of the CPUSA — If Stanley Armour wasn’t a communist, he was a fellow traveler..
The 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii identified Davis as a CPUSA member. What’s more, anti-communist congressional committees, including the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), accused Davis of involvement in several communist-front organizations.

I remember reading somewhere that the gpa was the one to intro the dear leader to Frank Marshall Davis so that gives some credibility and weight to the claim that gpa was a fricken commie.
Grandpa was a “furniture salesman”. In Kansas, the “furniture store” he was employed at appears to have been a secret meeting ground for underground American Communists. The FBI began to surveil these types of establishments.
When Grandpa and others got wind of the FBI watching, he hurriedly relocated to an island near Seattle, where he attended a hidden Communist church known as the “Little red chuch on the hill”.
While in Washington state, he continued his “furniture salesman” job, and Communist headquarters was around the block.
Stanley Ann Dunham’s teachers in Washington state were also Communists. I’ll get their names to you later.
When the FBI got close again, Grandpa moved the family to Hawaii, where he again took on a Communist “furniture salesman” position, and met Frank Marshall Davis.
The facts in Washington state I’ll have to clarify for you. They lived in 2 different places there, in short amount of time between.
