"Recently we learned of a malicious desecration of a photo of the Governor and baby Trig that has become an iconic representation of a mother's love for a special needs child.

The mere idea of someone doctoring the photo of a special needs baby is appalling. To learn that two Alaskans did it is absolutely sickening. Linda Kellen Biegel, the official Democrat Party blogger for Alaska, should be ashamed of herself and the Democratic National Committee should be ashamed for promoting this website and encouraging this atrocious behavior.

Babies and children are off limits. It is past time to restore decency in politics and real tolerance for all Americans. The Obama Administration sets the moral compass for its party. We ask that special needs children be loved, respected and accepted and that this type of degeneracy be condemned."

What a wasted effort. Telling any democrat that they should be ashamed is a waste of time. Democrats are never ashamed, never resign, never force their fellow criminals to resign and never ever do the right thing or take the “high moral ground”. They also never miss a chance to trash a conservative for anything; even spitting on the sidewalk. OK, I'll play along. Let me ask you a couple of questions. 1) Would anybody other than a couple of drooling left-wing nutjobs have ever known the doctored photo even existed if somebody hadn't gotten their drawers all in a twist and made it common knowledge?

2) Will most people who know about it now even be able to recall it without prompting in 6 months?

I say this because I believe one of the problems with the conservative movement is that we suffer from a distinct lack of "concentration of fire". We piss and moan about all the peripheral crap that in the end of the end, really doesn't mean squat. Meanwhile Obamacare is in danger of passing and altering American society forever. (as an example)

No my friend, I am fully aware of what is going on with our economy. However, I have no problem with sending a short and pointed email to the Dems in AK letting them know that they should be ashamed.

I do agree that we need to stay focused on the big issues, but taking a minute to point out their hypocrisy is always worthwhile to me.

2.) Most people will probably forget, that is the nature of our hi tech culture.

I post extensively in a liberal forum, and debate people at any chance I get out in the real world. I ALWAYS stick to economics when debating “liberals”. They have no choice but to agree when you start talking about their money.

But in the Free Republic forum, I tend to let that down a little because I consider myself mostly amongst friends.
