Maybe when City College of NY is done building Charlie Rangel's favorite Pork project, the $1.95 million, federal earmark funded Charles B. Rangel Center for Public Service one of the first courses they could teach is "Playing Fast and Loose with Ethics 101."

This past year, has not been kind to Congressmen Charlie Rangel. In September he admitted a failure to report $75 thousand in taxes. Rangel is the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, they write the tax law. You would think that he would be extra-careful to make sure that he would follow the tax law.

A few weeks earlier he was found using four rent- controlled apartments (one for an office) which while legal, is immoral for someone of his income.

Last month, the House Ways and Means Chair found himself in a new ethics investigation, this time "pay-for-play". The allegation is that Rangel helped preserve a lucrative tax loophole for an Oil Company, and in turn the Oil Company donated a Million Dollars to the Charles B. Rangel Center for Public Service. Nothing infuriates me more than hearing Larry Kudlow defend this crook. He thinks that because Rangel served in the military he’s above reproach.

"It's like when oil companies come and deal with you and Vice President Cheney," Rangel tells the Bush impersonator in the promotional video. "[They] give you money and then you give them what they want." "It's like sending [them] a thank you card," the impersonator responds.

"Mr. President, it's called corruption," says Rangel."

OUTRAGEOUS HYPOCRITE!!!

It's okay, he's Black.

It's racist to hold Blacks responsible for anything.

Gotta love these pols! Now they're pricing pork like they're selling the stuff at Walmart. A dollar ninety-eight, my @ss!

Charlie's building will cost $5 mil by the time they open the doors; and then lots more after that perpetually filling the building up with useless bureaucrats.

I'm not so sure that it is legal. I was always under the impression that rent controlled and stabilized apartments could only be used as primary residences.
