Goldman Sachs: "Engineering Every Major Market Manipulation Since The Great Depression" Posted by Tyler Durden at 2:58 PM With a subtitle like "From tech stocks to high gas prices, Goldman Sachs has engineered every major market manipulation since the Great Depression - and they're about to do it again" run, don't walk, to your nearest kiosk and buy Matt Taibbi's latest piece in Rolling Stone magazine. One of the best comprehensive profiles of Government Sachs done to date. Speaking of GS, they sure must be busy today, now that Bernanke is about to be impeached and take the fall for all their machinations.

Gee I wish I could have posted this on the main forum. The underlying read is not Blog authored. But you won't read it anywhere else online because it is not in text form. I plan on looking for this at the store and buying a hard copy. Everyone should read this.

You have to go to the link to read the story. The Story is in the reader box under the pre-text. You can click on the button in the upper right to make it full screen so that you can read it. You can also chose to magnify it. If you read long enough then you will also find a part where he talks about Goldman's involvement in Cap and Trade. It seem that Goldman stands to make a mint on the trading of carbon credits. Once again a transfer of taxpayer and business money to those who get rich off from the hard work of others. If we had let Goldman fail then America would have been so much better off.

GS is now running the Fedgov. Everyone from Obama on down has ties to, is a former employee of, or is married to someone there.

GS has been whispering in the President’s ear long before obama.

Paulson was a Bush pick. His Chief of Staff Josh Bolten who replaced Andy Card in 2006- past Goldman Sachs exec.

I’m not going to sign up to read it. Besides, Goldman’s “screw everybody who doesn’t work for us—and screw most of those who do, too” mentality is all-too-well-known...

I’m kind of shocked that this is going to be in the press. This is one of the dirty secrets of Washington.

You don’t have to sign up. Follow the link and you can read it in the image viewer on the page(the box).

For those who want to jump right to the carbon tax part it is on the last two pages (11 and 12)
