I thought it might be humorous. This is just some family’s unconventional family portrait. Why is that newsworthy? Unless I’m mistaken all of us here were children once and it’s a safe bet a lot of us have silly family portraits from our childhood. I don’t have anything quite like this, but I do have “silly” portraits that have no business being mocked by anybody on the internet and I would imagine this family feels the same way.

Offhand, I'd bet the percentage of men that think it's a good idea is significantly higher in the population of liberals. It wouldn't surprise me if this guy thinks Obama is doing a fantastic job too... even though that's beyond my ability to comprehend.

Every year we had to go to Six Flags/Marine World and have our family portrait taken on the HUGE fiberglass shark they had there. Mom, Dad, me, hubby & our three kids and my sister, her husband and two kids.

Some people are all into such costumes. My co-worker recently took his family to Disney and they all dressed up as Disney Characters in a pre-vacation party

Not my cup of tea but I did not think any less of them.

Maybe I have not read some follow up stories. Did the wife do something else bad?
