Yes, you missed two things: She was already a done deal and the hearings are nothing more than a further White House smoke and mirror distraction from their real agendas (i.e: his meeting today with big Union officials, etc., etc.).

Thanks, but I was thinking more of the public case for her confirmation. Your suggestions, while they might be realistic, would be hard to support with quotes and soundbites.
