Here is video in four parts of a CBS Special done in 1997 called "Cronkite Remembers." Cronkite died yesterday, July 17, 2009, at the age of 92. This program has a lot of Cronkite himself talking about his life and family, and many of the historic events he covered. For both Cronkite's admirers and critics, it will bring back a lot of memories . . . . . (Watch Videos)

Seriously. Hasn’t TV news Fox included covered this enough?

Cronkite died about 50 years too late.

I now have to wonder if the tears he choked back as Neil Armstrong stepped onto the moon were real or not.

I remember the days when you had to obtain your news from only three networks. We were under the illusion that we were getting objective and factual news. We actually believed in professional journalism and ethics. Now we know better. We realized all too late that Cronkite and his ilk were nothing but full blown libs. Cronkite was Baghdad Bob in a suit.

“This program has a lot of Cronkite himself talking about his life and family, and many of the historic events he covered.”
Did it also cover the events he manufactured, like the lost war?

Who cares about this guy jeez. Theyre just trying to fill up air time. Fox preempted Sean Hannity for a Cronkite tribute. In frustration, I switched over to "Cops."

Cronkite was responsible for the Tet Offensive in 1968 being known as a failure instead of success in the public’s eye.
Enough of the romanticism over him. It is sickening. He dishonored our troops.
