The deposed leader of Honduras, Jose Zelaya, is right now standing on the Nicaraguan side of the border of Honduras and Nicaragua on his cell phone with a series of supporters presumably in preparation of re entering the nation.
Estoy en la zona intermedia en la frontera de Nicaragua declared ousted Honduran president Manuel Zelaya, on video broadcast around the world, while speaking with someone reported to be from his family, whom he had hoped to meet at the border. Zelaya is, as of 15:55 EDT, today, about to re-enter Honduras from the territory of Nicaragua, amid a caravan of supporters. Is there any live video? webcams? something?
Bet he pussies out.
I’m guessing his days of freedom are numbered.
Shoot the Commie as a trespasser!
He’s hoping for the Tony Noreiga scenario.
If you remember Omar Torrijos and how he got kicked out of Panama....he flew back into David, Panama where a low-ranking Panamanian officer had 100 men. Omar talked this guy into accepting him back into the country and helping to reinstate him as president....which Tony Noreiga helped to accomplish.
That b@st@rd Zeleya needs killing...
I hope he gets some fresh air to the brain
If you get Al Jazeera, they have a live feed from Telesur in English. Fox is using the same feed several times an hour.
Awk! Zelaya just said, “I’m not doing this for myself.”
And the United States vis-à-vis Obamination is on the wrong side of the dispute...
Obama either spoke before he knew the details of the situation (as he tends to do), or Obama knew the details of the situation and chose to support the convicted and evicted former President of Honduras’ bid for power, thereby enabling Zelaya’s attempt to overthrow the constitutionally formed and legal government of the Honduras people.
In other words, Obama regardless of his reasons (stupidity or complicity) is on the side of a man who wishes to overthrow the legal government of his people and country. If Honduras falls to the likes of Chavez and Castro, that adds to the preponderance of South American nations with grossly distorted economies and militaries caused by oppressive, non-democratic regimes that are unfriendly to our nation.
