The Emperor’s Waterloo: Is ObamaCare On Life Support?
LuckyBogey's Blog ^ | July 26, 2009 | LuckyBogey

It has been a really bad week for the President. He has just about pissed off the entire country except for the people that would vote for him even if he was born on Mars. Was Jim DeMint right about this being the President’s Waterloo?

I’m beginning to really believe the President has surrounded himself with idiots. After six months in office, his administration is starting to look like the “Bad News Bears”. Is this the beginning of the “Seventh Coalition” against OBamaCare? The Liberals are so mad they can’t even spell. The liberals will also soon learn about “Tea Parties“.

Last week, in a conference call with something called the “Natiional Tea Party Patriots,” Sen. Jim DeMint told the patriots that if they could defeat health care reform, it would “break” Pres. Obama and be his “Waterloo.” Liberty Street Blog

…Say what you want about George Bush, the guy got things done in his first term and lead. From education reform to Medicare Part D to his tax cuts, Bush signed his agenda into law despite congressional gridlock. Agree or disagree, that’s not a weak Commander-in-Chief...

America is discovering the truth about universal health care: it isn’t cheap. And Barack Obama is discovering the truth about the power of oratory: it can only get you so far. There is a lesson here for us all.

Opposition to the president’s health care reform is gathering a startling head of steam that threatens to engulf his presidency in early onset disillusionment. Health care is now being described as a potential “Waterloo” for the administration, and Mr Obama’s personal poll ratings are dropping in tandem with the declining popularity of his health care policy...

I’m beginning to really believe the President has surrounded himself with idiots.

It's the only way he can think of to make himself look intelligent.

I must say, however, it doesn't appear to be working.

obamanation has surrounded himself with people who are like him.. or “yes men/women”... he has left the drafting of bills to pelosi and other libs, while he campaigns... and doesn’t even read, nor care what he signs.. or campaigns for... just reads his telepromper.. he REALLY reminds me of hitler who, IMO was out of touch with reality, yet could make people get excited when he talked. and Hitler came close to taking over...

Waterloo was Napoleon’s last gasp, not the turning point. If we beat him on this, we still have at least 3 1/2 years to go. More like Midway than Waterloo.

The chief complaint about BarA.K.A. before the election is that he didn't do anything. The chief complaint after the election is that he didn't do anything right.

This week has truly been Hussein’s Lepanto but only if the pressure keeps, nay, accelerates until the bodies are all buried and the vultures replete.

Just got off the phone with a family member who wished Obama well back in January.

He now views Obama with contempt and disgust over the Gates issue. He is fuming, calling Dear Leader the foulest of names. (Race baiting Scumbugger .. etc..)

So it seems the good will and honey moon have ended on a rather bitter and irreconcilable note.

The Prof. Gates debacle is, I believe, his Waterloo. Healthcare will be icing on the cake. He’s shown his radicalism for all to see.

Yes on all counts! Obama has the best educated minds working on this, you know these people they have all of the letters behind their names but can barely figure out how to do simple life tasks that require common sense. That is the biggest problem with liberals common sense isn’t something that can be learned in school and without it it doesn’t matter how much education you have.
