CRANSTON, R.I. -- "Attitude poor" was the note that a Rhode Island state trooper included in a 1984 speeding ticket issued to then Yale professor Henry Louis Gates.
Records do lack a description of the words exchanged during the stop. The decades-old incident occurred on I-95 in Richmond, a town south of Providence.
Rhode Island Traffic Tribunal Magistrate William Guglietta said it is not unusual.
"We get these all the time," said Guglietta. Gates contacted the Rhode Island Traffic Court in 2002, asking to settle the fine. The case was dismissed after he paid a court cost of $25 Video report from NBC 7 Boston

25 years ago? Well, stop the presses. Good grief, I couldn’t even tell you what state I lived in 25 years ago. WHO CARES?
Cambridge Police Profiling Still A Grim Reality for Harvard Faculty Assholes
it confirms what this guy is....you have to do something for a cop to write that, he sure as he** didn’t say “yes sir, no sir”
It took 18 years for him to pay the ticket. Being a racist takes up a lot of your time apparently.
I think Obama was using Sgt. Crowley for his photo-op of racial healer, when those 2 (Obama and Gates) are the only ones who saw race from the beginning....this good cop was smeared

Kirkwood is exactly right, he got the ticket in 1984 and didn’t pay it til 2002, good catch....

Read the article again (?) and try to understand it this time. gates was a belligerent racist punk 25 years ago, and it took him 18 years to pay the ticket.
exactly right ozz,
this guy has been this way for a long time...
For a ticket issued in 1984? 18 years late? Well, yes, I'd say that backs up the assertion that he suffers from "attitude poor" disorder.
He didn’t even pay the ticket...just the court costs. Cute!!
