Don't Look For Green Jobs To Help Economy

Remember that declaration of Nancy Pelosi at the end of the Cap and Trade debate in the house? She said the bill is about Jobs, Jobs, Jobs. That echoed what the President has been saying since he began running for president, it was green Jobs that would help turn around the

Creating Green Jobs is so important to the President that he hired Van Jones, a self-described former communist as his "Green Jobs Czar. " Mr Jones was interviewed by Newsweek for July 28, 2009 story:

Washington is spending $60 billion to create the careers of the future, but not a single green job yet exists. Obama’s ‘green czar’ explains.

Jones told Newsweek that the real problem is that no one in authority can agree about just what a “green job” actually is:

Well, we still don’t have a unified definition, and that’s not unusual in a democracy. It takes a while for all the states and the federal government to come to some agreement. But the Department of Labor is working on it very diligently. Fundamentally, it’s getting there, but we haven’t crossed the finish line yet.

Jones literally wrote the manifesto on “green jobs” (2008’s The Green Collar Economy), so his statement doesn’t exactly inspire confidence about the green jobs effort.

Several environmental advocates polled by Newsweek defined green jobs the way Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart famously defined obscenity: I’ll know it when I see it.

The real issue is that you might not "see it" for a very long time. The point is, if you are looking for green jobs to help pull the economy out of the doldrums, don't hold your breath:

and won’t. Anybody that thinks the Democrats are going to do what they say to get this economy going again anytime soon are naive IMO.

Obama the Commie, the Commie Democrat leadership are turning this country into a Commie centralized government, and that means everything they do must and will be towards that end.

Anybody out of work, can’t find work turns to government for help. This is what they plan, what they want. Soon, and as per their agenda everybody is beholden to the Commie, Democrats for everything.

China holds our paper, Russia is moving into South and Central America, and cruising our shores with their subs, and nothing is being done about it. No energy policy, no nothing but a bunch of jacking of jaws, and making noises. No actions of anykind towards straightening out the problems that exist today. Nothing is being corrected of mistakes/sabotage the Socialist Democrats created along the way over the years.

They are making more problems as they go along, and doing nothing whatsoever to fix anything to make America whole again.

IMO we don’t have time at the rate they are going to wait for 2010, much less 2012 to vote them out.

There is enough anger one would think to start impeaching, and recalling those in our government enabling all this to happen to us.
