Sotomayor Confirmed as Supreme Court Justice
The Urban Grind ^

Posted on 08/06/2009 1:26:25 PM PDT by Amerisrael

"For all you “conservatives” who kept insisting that there was NO difference between John McCain and Barack Hussein Obama, this is all your fault!

You have no one but yourselves to blame when this Wise Latina (in other words, Aztlanist shill) legislates from the bench.

To his credit, John McCain at least opposed Sotomayor’s nomination. "

[I have a different take on this. Conservatives were absolutely justified in opposing the "pro-amnesty" rino John McCain. Those of us who did choose to vote for the ticket, voted for Palin, not McCain. If it were not for her, McCain would have been clobbered in the election a lot worse.]

[Also, some conservatives "love-affair" with Slick Mitty took votes away from Huckabee. Huck came out with a really tough policy against amnesty and illegal immigration. Modeled after the work of Mark Krikorian.]

[As for Fred, he was solid except on Middle East foreign policy. When reading Thompson's "white paper" position of support for Israel, it sounded pretty good till you got to the "peace process" section. There, Thompson fell off the clift into "Roadmap" folly. Sounding just like Condi.]

There is the proof.

Any racist (liberal) can be a SCJ.

Al Franken presided.

How fitting.

Al Franken is a joke! Pity the fools in Minnesota who voted this clown into office. Or was it ACORN?

No surprise here. Obama could have nominated Rosie O’Donnell and the Democrats and RINO’s would have confirmed her.

I called LIEberman’s office and said that his vote for a bigot was a slap in the face to his family who died in the holocaust.

That racism and bigotry cannot be tolerated and that he sold out his country to please Obama.

A goodly number of us not only voted for John McCain, but worked and volunteered for him because Sarah Palin was on the ticket.

Yes, I'm happy that he was 1 of 31 senators who voted against confirming a brown KKK member, but I think it is only because he is facing a tough primary fight last year.

Huck's sole role in last year's election was as Judas Goat to ensure McCain would be nominated. Fred and Mitt at least made an effort to distinguish themselves from the RINO establishment.

Bottom line is that I see no value in debating the merits of dueling RINOs when we have a real conservative candidate like Sarah to support.

>>> Elections have consequences.

Fortunately, this one may actually be reversible.

Wrong, that was Fred’s role. His real purpose in South Carolina’s primary was to take votes away from Huck, thereby helping McCain pull off a 3-point win in that states important primary. Thompson was the “spoiler” candidate for the Washington establishment. They didn’t like Huck because he wanted to do away with the IRS and replace it with the Fair Tax. Also, Huck was the only one of the candidates to oppose the establishment of a jihadist Palestine in the heart of Israel’s Judea and Samaria. And Washington didn’t like that either.

Fantasy. Huck refused to criticize McCain even long after Romney and Thompson had dropped out of the race. In fact, his entire pitch for the #2 slot was that he had run a "clean" campaign (= never ctiticized McCain). Huck's entire focus was on getting Mitt Romney out of the race.

It is never a very bright strategy to aim for the runner-up when you want the big prize. It might be a bright stategy only if your real goal is the #2 spot.

But McCain really had no tactical reason to pick a RINO for #2 when he needed a conservative to shore up his base. Sarah Palin can have the 2012 nomination if she wants it (and if we still have a country). Romney might give her a token contest from the RINO wing, but in the end he will lose. Huck won't even get very far out of the gate because we all saw how much money he was able to raise once he had served his role as Judas Goat to secure the nomination for McCain.

Yeah, the Fair Tax is a good idea. But with Obama working overtime to socialize health care, politicize the census to ensure a permanent liberal majority and legalize 30 million illegal aliens, what are the chances that it will even be discussed?

I wonder how many voted to confirm her out of fear of La Raza and other latino-centric organizations (read: hate groups) threatening to speak out against them during the next election?

LA RAZA/ACORN/MRS. BARBARA BOXER - “Orrin Hatch didn’t vote for Sotomayor because he’s a racist!”

HATCH - “No, I didn’t vote for her she’s done little in her career that would make me think she even knows what the word ‘impartial’ means.”

“THE RACE”/OBAMACORN/DELUDED FOOL - “That’s too fact-based, racist!”
