We Need A Revolution, ASAP

The government knows we're stupid sheep, and, so far in this economic crisis, the population has not sufficiently disappointed them.

Today we must always assume the government (Fed, Dem & Rep alike) are lying in everything they say, report and do. Before we can establish some level of trust, we must demand complete visibility to every dime spent every day and every financial commitment as soon as it’s made.

The government has clearly shown that whenever possible, it will rob from you and your children, then give it (bailouts, backstops and guarantees) to the wealthy that own the country/world and return only enough (lame stimulus/pork barrel) to prevent uprisings by the poor/ignorant masses. This is what government has done increasingly for decades and it continues today.

The government has no business interfering with the bankruptcy process (Chrysler/GM). It’s criminal to be spending many $billions of future generations’ wealth to pay back unions for their votes and keep them from rising up against the government. Loss of respect for investor rights in the USA will cause investment in any recovery to languish.

Government manipulation of our markets has reduced the USA to the level they once projected upon China, Russia and other communist countries. Our markets are no longer free, and therefore unable to efficiently distribute resources. This will only prevent recovery from happening as soon as it might have.

If the government says you’re needed to fight for them, they’re probably lying. If they invoke patriotism, they’re definitely lying. The government will get you killed for no good reason without remorse, and then screw you if you survive to become a veteran. Don’t be surprised if they try to justify a war as a convenient way to end the economic downturn.

Nothing that the government has done will in any way begin the healing process. They have only stolen from future generations, attempting to promote borrowing and spending, trying to solve a problem of excessive debt, caused by too much borrowing and non-productive spending by the baby boomers. Everything the government has done is simply madness. This doesn’t even include the massive un-funded entitlement obligations that will be the next financial crisis to unfold, again on the shoulders of future generations. Generational economic warfare is a very real possibility.

The only way to save our country is with a massive revolution against both the Dem and Rep parties. They need to be replaced with an absolute minimalist and moderate federal government, returning the maximum possible governance to the states. This would be best facilitated by several new mid-sized parties, replacing the existing big two, so that Americans are far better represented in aggregate at the federal level. Most other problems should then take care of themselves, especially if terms for all political offices are limited to a very small number, like one, so any campaign contributions allowed will mean nothing after the election.

Why are the kids not rioting after being robbed of so much future wealth? We should be expecting mass electronic attacks against the government/Fed/banks and demands of an immediate end to the pillaging of future generations. Be prepared.

Massive debt destruction is needed ASAP, starting with closure of all insolvent financial institutions and chopping up any large ones that remain. No more bailouts, backstops or guarantees; and the ones already out there should be retracted before they cost future generations any more.

Things need to get far uglier for a while, before the economic healing can truly begin, with less overall pain in the long run. This is when we will learn what is most important in life. Help the people you can through the difficult times ahead. Educate them about how their government has screwed them for decades and encourage them to join the revolution against Dems and Reps alike.

This is from the forum of my new favorite financial website ZeroHedge.com. This post started a thread on their forum and helped get me in the pissed off mood I'm in right now. "Join the revolution against Dems and Reps alike."

Your use of the R-word probably has resulted in you now being listed in a DHS mainframe.

The revolution started a few days ago when the congress critters when on recess and discovered how ticked of The People are with them.

Question though is will it remain only a verbal revolution.

As it stands right now a lot of them are going to be out of a job come 2010.

I had been thinking that Obama would try to grab guns and that this would be the flashpoint that would get things rolling. Now I think that this is incorrect.

I see the polls. I see the Town Halls. I see the crazy language in the healthcare bill.

No truly representative government would pass this monstrosity. If it DOES pass, then it is clear that our government is lost. They are not representing us, they don't care about us, and they have no concerns about the next election cycle. Your vote means nothing to them.

At that point, I think there is no reason not to go Henry Bowman.

Said critters then further ticked off the People by claiming those who expressed dissenting opinions were "Astroturf" (i.e., phonies).

I thought dissent was the highest form of patriotism. ;)

You might want to listen to Sam Vaknin explaining what Obama is, a malignant narcissist [ http://www.israelnationalnews.com/Radio/Player.htm#0#1258 ]. By understanding what this affirmative action bastard, you will get a better idea of what he will do, and it is not grabbing privately held guns. He will bring a society down around him in order to give himself an excuse for his absolute failure to meet his magic thoughts of his demigod state. Look for him to activate the herd he commands in community org fashion, to oppose those who will no longer ‘worship’ the imaginary image he has of himself and his deliverance for the faultering nation. Obama’s constant need for the teleprompter is indicative of narcissistic manipulation using customized management of themselves, to protect himself from being revealed ‘off script’. He is not an improviser, he is the sine wave man, swinging from insecurity toward omnipotence, but never reaching that level of competence thus always retaining below the surface, behind the mask, vulnerable to fear of abandonment.

For the most part, all governments rip off the people; commerce and religion are complicit as well.

The US wealth in terms of resources, talent, and such, is awesome!

Eventually, those in power steal so much, that either run out of money to rip off, or run out of willing subjects.

I think history shows this to be the case, but then, I am not an expert, just have lived in a few messed up places over my life and sad to say, this is the last place on Earth I would have thought that THIS would happen.

We are getting set up for the largest rip off ever seen.

We are getting set up for the largest rip off ever seen.

Even if it stopped today, it would already rank as the largest ripoff ever seen. Unfortunately, it won't be stopping today.

whats the first target?
at what or whom does the “revolution” direct it’s energy?
this is not 1775-america is vast and complex.
the next american revolution cannot be “fought” the way the original one was.
how does a well motivated, well armed, yet loosely organized and largely leaderless movement take action against a monolithic leviathan like this government?
anyone?
(check your history)

Hypothetically, of course...

If it’s anything like the deconstruction of the USSR, leviathan would have to be regionally fractured first. The coastal power centers are largely alienated from and disenfranchising the rest of the country, and the resulting friction could be used as impetus.

It would still take a leader (or several) to rouse the rabble to action. Revolutions don’t happen without them.

just have lived in a few messed up places over my life and sad to say, this is the last place on Earth I would have thought that THIS would happen.

Interesting how the leftist communists are just standing on the gas peddle of National Socialism.

Classic National Socialism

The frenzy they are entering into is, in perspective, actually pretty weird. Nutjob Nancy is babbling on about “astroturfers” and how they are carrying swastikas at the Town Hall meetings. What half-sane elected official would get in front of film crews that are sticking a microphone in their face and start blabbing 100% lies regarding American Citizens?

No, really.

Would not an ordinary person on the street be hauled off to the rubber room hotel? Yet somehow a theoretically responsible, extremely high ranking public official can say such things that are blatant, provable lies and nothing is done, nothing is said, no one tries to stop them or even question it.

Doesn’t anyone think that is just a bit to close to Twilightzone Time?

“Uh, uh, uh, I think they are astorturf… you be the judge. They are carrying swastikas and symbols like that to a town meeting on healthcare."

Ok, I will jump in the pool first. Nancy Pelosy, current speaker of the House of Representatives is as nuts as they come.

Insane, crazy, whacko, sociopathic, delusional NUTS.

She has lost touch with reality and should, for the safety of the public at large, be confined in a mental institution.

A really big mental institution.

There is NO WAY she should be anywhere near the Presidency.

But back to my point, no one seems to be noticing that more and more of the “democrats” or more accurately,. the communist agenda leftists, are just skipping merrily along with this. They seem to not have a clue that World WAR was fought over these exact issues. They seem to have lost touch with the fact that a huge majority of the voters today have or had direct parents that fought, suffered, sacrificed and even died in that war.

Yet some how they have all eased into the “can’t happen here” mindset.

Oh.

Really?

We are seeing the first parts of a repeat performance of a MAJOR war unfolding right in front of our eyes.

I can't speak for everyone else but the documented insanity of the leftist communist agenda democrats echoing from the past is not so distant that it fails to scare the crap out of me...

Yes We Can!

Hail Victory!

Yes We Can!

Hail Victory!

Yes We Can!

Hail Victory!

I agree, whether the politican is an R or a D, he/she is still a government employee, and not your ally.
