In an attempt to fight back against average citizens who express their views toward the government takeover of healthcare, Barack Obama and Congressional Democrats have launched a counter-offensive aimed at discrediting the citizens and seizing the upper hand on the healthcare debate.
Obama told Democratic Senators just prior to their departure on Friday for the August recess that the Administration 'has their backs' and that if they are attacked for their views on socialized medicine they should attack back doubly hard.
We have already seen at least some of what this strategy entails.

Zero is going to label the opposition as “Swift Boaters” — you can bet money on it.
Declaring war on its citizens and constituent over a policy issue ... tsk tsk, what a foolish thing to do. This will not turn out well for Obama and the Dems
Rule 5: Ridicule is mans most potent weapon. Its hard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.
According to Alinsky, the main job of the organizer is to bait an opponent into reacting. The enemy properly goaded and guided in his reaction will be your major strength.

Best way to counter this is to not show up to townhalls anymore - let them talk to themselves. Opponents of the healthcare bill need to be smarter and one step ahead of them at all times. Show up on the sidewalk of reps/senators homes instead. Spend no longer than a few hours there, then on to the next home. Then show up on the sidewalks of their district offices. Then find out where they shop and eat out. It’s critical to make their lives miserable with our feedback.
“Congressional Democrats have launched a counter-offensive aimed at discrediting the citizens and seizing the upper hand on the healthcare debate.”
In other words, convince the blue dogs they risk little if they support the Obama care insanity. They do so at great risk to their political future.
Rules for Radicals - Rule 8: Keep the pressure on. Use different tactics and actions and use all events of the period for your purpose. The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition. It is this that will cause the opposition to react to your advantage.
Yep, but because we aren’t organized, it won’t happen.
It’s a shame that the tone of the national debate going on right now has reached an adversarial one.
Words like “counter-offensive” make it sound like a war.
What’s wrong with expressing an opinion that’s counter to the politicians’ point of view? Have they forgotten they are working for the taxpayers?
— Jane Reinheimer
This thuggishness will prove suicidally counterproductive.
You don’t respond to your own democrat voters concerns by sending out the cossacks to sabre them in the streets.
Yes, they really have forgotten who works for who and a gentle reminder is needed. The reminder is already starting but will be accelerating daily now.
Additionally, a lot of media personalities have taken on some of the same “ I am god” personality traits- thats going to turn out badly for them as well.
God has a plan. It involves making things more black and white in the end times so people can choose right or wrong.
The gray is fading to more black and white.
These guys are coming down on the wrong side.
Keep the prayers coming - Our job is to save as many as we can before Rapture. some folks are really just on a fence because its comfortable and they need to see the true difference between right and wrong. Thats what these times are about.
God Bless and Keep all here and all we can save.
Absolutely. Hit them right back with their own tactics. It’s the only way.
We could always be better organized...but that should be no reason to throw in the towel...
Where is our RNC Chairman Michael Steele? ....cricket sounds.....
