This is so incriminating... just wow!

I’ll tell you what we should do, guys. I think that we should stampede like a herd of frightened wildebeest in separate directions. Then, we should repudiate Sarah Palin and tar her as a RINO.

What do you say, guys? What’s the worst the could happen: we fracture into tiny, insignificant tribes based around single issues while the country goes off the cliff into socialism? Nah, that could never happen. Better to have a perfect Leftist in the White House than to suffer an imperfect conservative in the Oval Office.

Hey, didn’t Reagan vote for Amnesty in 1986? That miserable RINO!

Folks, conservatism is not an either/or proposition. There are shades of conservatism. It makes absolutely NO SENSE, not right now, to dump someone who is so influential in the movement and who has done so much to mobilize the conservative base in this country simply because she differs from you on this one issue. Look, I don’t agree with her views on abortion or homosexuality, but that does not negate my commonality with her on issues of national security, gun rights, energy, and taxes. Some of y’all were willing to dump Cheney a while back because he expressed support for gay marriage — and Cheney has been one of our most effective spokesmen since Obama took over!

Be realistic. We’re looking at the bankruptcy of the United States of America, and we’re squabbling over Internet gossip like spoiled little children.

If you don’t like the choices, then YOU run for office as the “perfect” conservative candidate. Otherwise, man up and lend your support to the MOST conservative candidate running, even if you disagree with him/her on one or two specific issues. We can no longer afford the luxury of ideological purity — the country cannot afford it.

The number of idiots on this thread screeching about this just proves that many FReepers are as brain dead as the average liberal.

Well, then it's easily countered.

Give a quote or statement where she said something different. I WANT to be convinced.

Amen! The anti-Palin’s are coming out. They must cut her down with old interviews and distortions of her meaning. Spread the word, indeed. And it’s only 2009. She’s got their pants scared off already.

I was sending her a modest check every month from my pension.

I don't mean to pry, but why would you send any politician a monthly check? I can understand contributing money on a regular basis to specific issue-oriented groups because you're more likely to get what you pay for, so to speak. Personally, I wouldn't send a politician money until it's actually primary season and he/she has clearly established positions on criticial issues.

Just points out how many of these non stop Palin attack are Romney inspired . Romney the loser that wiped out Taxachusetts’s budget with his socialist Romneycare disaster ! That is quite a feat for that disaster of a state.

It is not BS, go to the article, click the link and than click the univision link. Not onyl does she talk to these anti american pro amnesty scum, she proudly proclaims she supports a pathway to citizenship for illegals and that deportation is inhumane. Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo wouldn’t even go to their debates or do ads in Spanish. these are true conservative men of principle.

“This was when she was McAmnesty’s running mate. It wouldn’t have gone over well to say otherwise.”

So, for those of you who continue to excuse her for this reason...what you’re saying is that she was being dishonest at the time about her position.... just so she could get her ticket elected?

Mittens is at it again I see.

Next he'll probably instruct his lackeys at Bain Capital's Clear Channel to diss Palin by saying they're passing on her for their network even though she hasn't sought them out.

Oh wait, he did that last week.

Here’s a more comprehensive answer she gave to Greta van Susteren on Halloween:

VAN SUSTEREN: Governor, you know, before economics hit us so heavily in the last month or so as a topic, the thing that grabbed people’s attention was illegal immigration. And that was the big problem for a long time. What’s your thought on that? I mean, what’s — how do can we fix the illegal immigration issue in this country?

GOV. SARAH PALIN: We’ve got to secure the borders, and we can’t be considering this broad range of amnesty that some would want. We’ve got to secure the borders and prove to the American people that the federal government is serious about this, and it’s got to be a comprehensive approach to dealing with the immigration challenge that we have — securing the borders, working with our border governors and mayors. They’re there on the front lines, understanding what some of the solutions can be, if only they have an administration who will work with them.

And McCain has a great comprehensive approach that he wants to take to this. It includes dealing humanely, too, with the 12 million or 13 million illegal immigrants that we have today also. But until we secure the borders, I don’t think Americans are even going to believe that we’re serious about fixing some of the problems that are just inherent with this challenge of so many illegal immigrants here.

Now, unfortunately, with McCain’s supporting proposal for this comprehensive approach to fixing problems there, there were about five poison pill amendments provided in the comprehensive approach that McCain wanted. And Barack Obama voted for those poison pills, killed the whole initiative, and we still have the problem that we have today.

Illegal immigration, though, is a perfect example of how these parties had better start working together, the D’s and the R’s, get it together if they’re serious about addressing the problem of illegal immigration. It’s not a Republican or a Democrat problem. It’s all of America’s issue.

Entire interview at link; scroll down to the end, as it’s one of the very last questions Greta asks of her.

Whoa, whoa, whoa there hoss...how about you find a recent interview or drop her PAC an email and find out what she really thinks. Apparently, this interview was old from when she was running with McAmnesty. Remember, there are many in the “big tent” that don’t like the waves Sarah is making and they will do anything to discredit her...even if it is a fellow Republican. That is why we’re in the mess we’re in now...the big tent and staying away from conservatism.

Remember...trust, but verify.
