Tea Party researchers have discovered some interesting news on one of the people arrested for beating Ken Gladney.
Elston K. McCowan is a former organizer – now the Public Service Director of SEIU Local 2000 – and board member of the Walbridge Community Education Center, and is a Baptist minister, has been a community organizer for more than 23 years, and now, he is running for Mayor of the City of St. Louis under the Green Party.
McCowan accused the Mayor of setting fire to his van . . . because that’s what big city mayors do in their spare time, I guess. He also called Slay a racist. And, on election night, McCowan thanked the family who voted for him. It was quite touching, actually.
McCowan is not a rank-and-file, card-carrying union guy. He is a director with SEIU. He IS the union. He ISSUES the cards. Andy Stern himself might as well have kicked Gladney.
Stern has some fishy hiring standards, folks. Can’t wait to see how he spins THIS one.
And they say Glenn Beck is nuts....he was all over the SEIU/Acorn/Obama link.

Yep..thank God for Beck. I hope he is all over this today.
He was way ahead on this story and he deserves credit for it. No surprise that the heavily unionized newspapers aren’t covering this story.

Ah! so this is why the SEIU website was saying that TH protesters had beaten up a Reverend and other SEIU members.
I was wondering where the whole Reverend thing came in.

Of course. They don’t like being exposed for the marxists that they are. Obama lied to the American people to get elected, but he never had any intentions of governing from the ‘center’. The proof is right there for all Americans to see in the bills that he is pushing and his take-over of banks, car companies, insurance companies and now healthcare. Next on his agenda is taking over the oil companies and flinging open the borders. Our republic is being destroyed right in front of our eyes and Americans have decided they don’t like it. Better late than never.
On a bright note..if Obama continues in this path, he will bring the entire Democrat party down. This is not a San Francisco values and socialist country.
