Here is video of CNN's Rick Sanchez getting into a heated back and forth exchange with Democrat Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee over the fact she talked on her cell phone at a Town Hall Meeting while a woman was trying to ask her a question.

Sanchez asked her "What were you thinking?" Lee started rambling about everything except what he asked her about! Sanchez then interrupted Lee and said, Congresswoman, you are not answering my question."
Lee actually said the video of her talking on the cell phone "may have been doctored." When Sanchez later tried to call her on that, she would not comment further on the video.
Sanchez finally just asked why she would not simply apologize for being "disrespectful."

I guess the audience reaction is also doctored?
She sounds very much like my kids when they were younger. If they didn’t want people to believe they had done something wrong, even if the people saw it and even if it’s on tape, just deny the whole thing. I’ve seen gang bangers and pot heads do the same thing when they are before the judge or when they get arrested, just deny everything and the little POSes think that that will make everything better.
It appears Ms. Lee still believes that crap. When is she going to grow up and accept responsibilities for her stupidity?

I had students who would do exactly the same thing. Somewhere htey learned that if you just keep denying something no matter what, someone will believe you and everything will be ok.
This juvenile response I would expect from a 3rd grader, with excuses in this order:
1) I didn’t do it.
2) Someone lied by doctoring the video.
3) That’s not me on the phone, it someone who looks like me.
4) OK, I was talking to the President. I’ve been telling him what to do for the last 6 months.
The woman who was trying to ask a question when Sheila Jackson Lee was on the phone has been interviewed on TV. She said there were a couple of other questioners that Jackson Lee did the same thing to.
Greta Van Susteren promised she would put a call in to Congresswoman Sheila to offer her show as a way to give an apology for her conduct. It looks as if Congresswoman Sheila is trying to BS her way out of it.
She could sacrifice kittens and puppies to Satan and she would still get reelected in her district.
If THEY can fake footage of US astronauts putting a flag on Mars, dotoring SJL would be no problem.
According to the cancer survivor, Jackson Lee did this to at least two other people and it appeared she was communicating with her staff who were telling what other politicians or notable personages were in the room. Then Jackson Lee would give a “shout out” to that person.
