Here is video of former President Bill Clinton pandering to the "Netroots (Nutroots) Nation" meeting last night where he confessed that his signing his "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" Gays in the Military Policy into law was something he did only because he could not get a more radical policy through Congress. He said he regrets how it has been implemented by "middle level" military personnel.
He also confessed that he signed the "Defense of Marriage Act" into law, not because he believes in the sanctity of traditional marriage, but because it was a move to keep Congress from sending a Constitutional Amendment banning Gay Marriage to the states at the time.
Clinton made both statements in response to a heckler who interrupted him for not being stronger on Gay Rights issues. Clinton told the man he ought to "go to the Congressional Health Care meetings," since he would fit in fine over there. . . . . (Watch Video)

And the award for the most incomprehensible headline goes to...
Clinton “doesn’t believe in the sanctity of marriage.”
Well, DUH.
He is a compulsive liar.
Obama is rushing his Socialist agenda so fast that even Bill Clinton is cowed into defensiveness over his pathetic attempts (by comparison)
It has become more than obvious that Clinton cares not about marriage including his own. Clinton is an immoral degenerate whose only fidelity is to his own ego.
The only hope is that 0bama has so overplayed his hand that a lot of the normally apathetic will finally wake up to what's really happening and demand their country back. There is evidence of this at the tea parties and townhall meetings and it's got the politicians scared. I just hope that this kind of real (as opposed to leftwing manufactured) activism keeps up.
I'm watching the Va and NJ governer races, if they go well we'll see some very nervous politicians as we get closer to 2010, and I'll bet Obamacare won't get through.
Sorry. You only have so many letters for the headline. “Defense of Marriage Act” and “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” make it a challenge when that is the subject matter.
Gee Clinton looks terrible.
I know he had heart surgery and we’re all getting older, but, still looks so haggard and tired.
Hillary doesn’t look so good either these days. The sec. of state job is wearing her down.
Why did they change the name of this event from “Yearly Kos” to “Netroots Nation”? Is the “Daily Kos” brand perceived as too liberal/radical?
I also heard that ACORN wanted to change their name. If that happens, could be that ACORN has become a dirty word in our politics, and they will want to craft a new image.
