... More to the point, and certainly more fun, observe the Curse of Nye as it descends on ex-governor Sarah Palin in this morning's press. "Hockey mom? She didn't do hockey and she wasn't that much of a mom" is one of the unkinder headlines generated by the revelations made by her ex-future son-in-law.
I was on holiday last summer when Palin was picked from well-deserved obscurity and imposed on an unhappy John McCain as his Republican running-mate for the presidency, itself a sign of weakness sufficient to disqualify him for the job. ...

This Guardian Garbage is pure blather. I would recommend not wasting your time reading it. Of course it's blather. But, more to the point, it is one more recognition of Sarah's effect. This is a guy on the left side of the left, on the other side of the ocean, using her name on his readers. His target is Brit leftists, and ilk.
Sarah Palin has more power by posting on Facebook, than anything she sends to an editor. But, even the Washington (com)Post has helped her words be advanced.
They're worried... about a little old fisherwoman from the backwoods!

The Guardian had an obituary eulogizing Saddam Hussein when he got the rope. Nuff said.

Please, please make me one for Palin/Malkin 2012. PRETTY please...? ;)

she is an example of what feminism should be. and left is beside themselves that she is a Republican.
To: WorkerbeeCitizen
I was thinking Sarah Palin / Liz Cheney.
Ted Nugent should either be the Secretary of Defense or Homeland Security. Better yet, combine the two.
Bolton for Secretary of State.
Then eliminate every other Cabinet Position except the Vice President and get rid of the Federal Reserve Bank.

Some nobody writing a political column for the NHS house paper writes about obscurity with reference to Palin?
Really?

she is an example of what feminism should be ...I disagree. She is the perfect example of what feminism should NOT be!
The very word is a disgrace to women (imho). A feminine woman is one who complements a man. A woman is a special thing in God's economy. There is a difference.
In the Bible (yeah, I'm a "thumper", too), God raised up women to fill a man's shoes, when God deemed it necessary to advance His plans. There are several examples. Sometimes, there's just not a good man to be found. But, that was then, and this is now.
Now, we are in a new time, with new battles. But, the enemy hasn't changed...
I believe Sarah Palin IS being used by God. Is she perfect. Of course not. Is she making some mistakes. Time will tell!
But, for now, she's in the line of fire more than anyone. She's hitting the right buttons, and pissing off the right folk! She's speaking truth, straight from the hip! That hip carries her kid, too!
PRAY FOR SARAH AND OUR COUNTRY.
