Information on Truthers....Comes from "Hate Sites"? (LGF's Charles Johnson gets schooled)

I do not understand why Charles Johnson would want to push it, given his visceral hatred of such conspiracy nuts, and especially given that it relies upon the testimony of three Truthers, and he is the author of what I shall begin calling the Charles Johnson Axiom: Truthers lie.

Few, I'm sure, have missed the irony here, but among them seems to be Charles Johnson himself, so I'll explain why I keep quoting that: He is using the Charles Johnson Axiom "Truthers lie" to establish the veracity of Van Jones, who is himself, in fact, a Truther.

How that logic works I don't quite get but there you go.

This isn't personal. CJ has never done anything wrong by me.

But he himself makes a very big issue of intellectual honesty and integrity and scientific type thinking.

Well, CJ, you're not the only one. Sometimes I get the feeling you think you are, but you're not.

And I consider it my duty to rubbish this thoroughly faith-based defense, a silly conspiracy theory of Truthers deceived into supporting Trutherism, a goofy evidence-free theory sustained entirely by magical thinking and illogic.

Read the whole thing. Charles Johnson has, once again, gotten caught hypocritically trying to argue for one point, after having argued the other way on his own blog previously. In this case, he's doing so to try to downplay the Trutherism of the despicable Van Jones.

It’s tragic. He used to have a good blog. Now all he does is attack Christians and conservatives. I used to post there under the name of Baldy. Not sure if I will again.

Charles Johnson always is a liberal. He was only briefly awakened by 9/11. He will go whereever the wind blows. If GOP wins again, he will be conservative again.

The link wasn’t (thankfully) back to Little Green Footballs. It was to a conservative blog called The Ace of Spades. Ace has been taking Charles Johnson to task over his truther nonsense. I think he (Ace) has done a pretty good job of making CJ look ridiculous. Fwiw.

I saw it. I get the impression Ace is having a very good time baiting CJ. I’m glad somebody’s doing it. CJ has really gone off the deep end this time. It’s nice to have somebody like Ace around, to keep me laughing. ;)

I feel sorry for Charles Johnson. I don't know what his problem is. Maybe some kind of inferiority complex. Might be his father beat him constantly as a child. Could be he had sex with his mother, or has a small penis, and women laugh at him. I don't know. I just hope he seeks therapy, and gets over it.

He’s just a great writer period. That’s one reason I frequent his site. I’m always happy to see a mention of it here on FR. I don’t understand why more conservatives don’t avail themselves of the AoSHQ. He’s profane, but VERRRRRY funny!
