Exactly! The SRM's ubiquitous explanation today is preposterous on its face. To take their logic at face value: if the criticism of Jones was based on nothing more than unfiltered, slanderous lies from a bunch of worthless sewer-dwelling right wing online nuts, why in heaven's name would he "resign"? The deadstream media hadn't even covered Jones' ignominious history at all. Most American's hadn't even heard of him until today because the dinosaur networks chose to sweep the controversy under the rug entirely as per their usual protocol of devoted service to this administration.
Which in turn begs the question: why would the most powerful man in the world Barack Obama even consider accepting the "resignation" of one of his own friends & appointees who'd been allegedly victimized by an unwarranted attack by the fringe right wing as they are all now claiming? Would this President cave in immediately, submissively raise the white flag and demand his Vice president resign the minute someone else, say the North Koreans, started to throw around 'baseless' allegations about him too?
Do these kool-aid swilling fools on MTP have any idea how ridiculous they sound? In their effort to minimize Jones' patently bigoted & extremist ideology, they're actually making their messaiah Barack Obama look like a paintywaisted wimp who does the bidding of an alleged small band of right wing internet thugs the minute they say 'boo'! It DID die with Tim Russert. The show in its place appeases liberals but is nothing remotely close to the show Tim so professionally and fairly presented to viewers. It may bear the same name, but is not remotely in any way the same quality of news show, nor does it aspire to be.
Whereas the MSM is treated, filtered information. Which is why the internet is cleaning their clocks!
