Well, whether it is true or not, we do NOT know what’s in those vaccines and neither do the people making them. They have no idea what the contents will do to folks. Side effects were terrible in the first swine flu vaccine.

Well.., I have to read a lot into your question, given that I'm not sure of the total context. But, I'll assume it's the context given here -- which is, that this was a planned flu pandemic outbreak -- and not -- something that happens three times a century on the average and that it was already about 15 years overdue (on the average).
So, first I reject the idea that a flu pandemic was planned (as in making it happen), calculated or created (in order to have it happen). These pandemics have happened on their own anyway, for century upon century. Why does anyone have to make it happen when it happens on it own? LOL...
Secondly, I reject the idea that come from some who post on Free Republic, that there is no flu pandemic in the first place (a position that some take). I believe that there is, and that it is, indeed, a flu "pandemic". How serious of a pandemic is another question, and that will be answered in this coming flue season. The fact that it reached pandemic status in the "off-season" (in the Northern Hemisphere) is very instructive, just by itself. It will prove to be quite widespread during the flu season, I believe.
And then, coming down to the idea of a flu shot, well..., I've never had a flu shot once in my life, so I probably won't have one now. However, I do think some precautions are good to keep in mind. A pneumonia vaccine might be in order, considering what the A/H1N1 flu virus attacks. That's usually what gets people, when they die, it seems. And a pneumonia vaccine is a long-standing vaccine with no problems that I've heard of. Its history goes a long time before now and before this particular A/H1N1 flu virus. I might consider that.
Another further consideration is that this particular strain of flu virus seems to be hitting a little "spike" in the population -- the ones who normally who don't get it. And they are getting it. I believe that's from teens to young adults, whereas they are typically not affected as much as the very young and very old. It's not necessarily true in this case. That might make some of those in that population group think about taking adequate precautions.
Whether that's a flu shot or not, or perhaps a pneumonia vaccine, instead, it's up to them. But, one way or another, it looks like we're "in for it" as far as flu pandemics are concerned. I don't know about the death rate yet, and so we'll see about that one.
Basically, it's up to parents and their own kids, and/or its up to each individual as to what they want to do. No one makes anyone take the vaccine, and there are many who do want to get the vaccine. And if they want to, that's fine as it's their decision to do so.
When I took the polio oral vaccine, there was controversy as to whether feeding kids a live polio virus was a good idea. But, my parents thought it was and I took that one. And today, parents will decide whether it's a good idea for their kids or not. I would advise them to make the decision on the basis of the trial results/test results and not conspiracy theories and speculations... :-)

In terms of this flu shot, I’m not sure what would be that much different about this one from others, except that it’s being rushed to production probably faster than other years (because of the pandemic status...). Other than not having all the time that they would have had before (just a little bit longer than what has been available now), I’m not sure what the problem is with this flu shot.
As far as Jesus and the swine... ummm.., no I must have missed that thread... LOL...

I do believe that the government can quarantine people for good reason and if there is a big problem in a certain geographical area, then a quarantine would be in order. That part I can go along with. But, mandatory vaccination, that’s another story. However, we do abide by mandatory vaccinations in schools, so that part has been accepted by the public and is thought of as normal.
But, what we’re talking about here is an across-the-board mandatory vaccination of the public..., if that’s what I understand you to say? And in that regard, I can’t see that being legal. Where is that reported that this is going to be done? I would like to read that one...
Are you talking about the standard vaccinations for schools, or are you talking about a mandatory vaccination for the A/H1N1 flu virus?
That was a lot of reading and I had to read really fast... LOL...
But, from what I got out of it, you either get a vaccination (if so ordered) or you are quarantined. Now, as I said before, a quarantine is something that I would expect in any serious outbreak that is a public threat, so that’s not something that I would object to.
And the bill said that if a person didn’t want the vaccination, then they would be quarantined. In other words, it’s not mandatory for a vaccination.
In addition to that, I saw a part of the bill that said if you were quarantined, it’s illegal for a business to fire that employee who has been quarantined, so your job is protected if you are quarantined and off work for a while (I guess some people would appreciate that... :-) ...).
Anyway, that’s about all that I could find on any mandatory vaccination...
Thank you for your review of the pending legislation. I do appreciate your perspective. I will surely consider it if and when the time comes to decide weather or not to have my daughters take the vaccine. But, that’s tomorrow I’ll worry about it then. Today has enough things to consider on its own without worrying about tomorrow.
Take the poisoned vaccine or be put in a “quarantine” camp (to be gassed). If the germ actually exists, then it is probably a manufactured biological weapon, and therefore, they have all sides covered. Just have to seal off roads and shoot runners (martial law).
Or... perhaps the benevolent government is telling the truth and they just want to help and care about people. The kind of caring they’ve shown at Town Hall meetings and with the DeathCare bill.
Best case scenario is that this is just another round of liberal overreaction to another flu non-event. Maybe next year it will be rabbit flu. ‘Course it seems these non-events are test balloons to pave the way for the martial law scenario to eventually be implemented.

The Chiron company, maker of the deadly anthrax vaccine, makes an adjuvant called MF-59 which contains two main ingredients of concern-squalene and gp120. A number of studies have shown that squalene can trigger all of the above-mentioned autoimmune diseases when injected.
* * * I reviewed a number of studies on this adjuvant and found something quite interesting. Several studies done on human test subjects found MF-59 to be a very safe immune adjuvant. But when I checked to see who did these studies, I found-to no surprise-that they were done by the Novartis Pharmaceutical Company and Chiron Pharmaceutical Company, which have merged. They were all published in "prestigious" medical journals. Also, to no surprise, a great number of studies done by independent laboratories and research institutions all found a strong link between MF-59 and autoimmune diseases.
Squalene in vaccines has been strongly linked to the Gulf War Syndrome. On August 1991, Anthony Principi, Secretary of Veterans Affairs admitted that soldiers vaccinated with the anthrax vaccine from 1990 to 1991 had an increased risk of 200 percent in developing the deadly disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also called Lou Gehrig's disease. The soldiers also suffered from a number of debilitating and life-shortening diseases, such as polyarteritis nodosa, multiple sclerosis (MS), lupus, transverse myelitis (a neurological disorder caused by inflammation of the spinal cord), endocarditis (inflammation of the heart's inner lining), optic neuritis with blindness and glomerulonephritis (a type of kidney disease). * * *

Everyone, my kids have had this swine flu (it is rampant through our school system right now and they tested positive- I didn’t but experienced the same symptoms) and it was no worse than a bad cold. The only thing different is a lingering and annoying cough. But it isn’t a bad cough and no signs of pneumonia or anything.

I had no idea there was some talk of this originating in Wisconsin! As I’ve said so many times I KNOW this is what my family and I suffered from the first few weeks of last April - none of us have EVER been so sick in our LIVES.
This only confirms my suspicions more... I only hope we have some natural immunity to this now, and I praise GOD that since it went straight to my lungs I was still able to get better without needing to be admitted to a hospital. I wonder if it was the flu that affected my lungs though - or whether it was a secondary infection caused by immune system trying to fight off the flu? My kitten was suffering from a respiratory “infection” and became sick the same day as my whole family. Turns out he had Feline Leukemia, and died a week after I went to the doctor for my lungs due to his body developing so many white cells due to the infection...
Lots of stuff to consider, but it makes me very curious now as to exactly what happened with my family.
It also makes me remember that when we took my daughter in (she was developing a really bad sore throat on day 10 of her illness), the doctor heard we were ALL sick at home and basically excused himself from shaking our hands and kept a noticeably “far distance” from us - except for the actual examination of my daughter’s throat and the strep swab (which was negative). The doctor even mentioned that there was something “really bad going around right now”...
