I don’t think these are “unintended” consequences. I think the Left was setting itself up all along for another round of “pro-consumer regulation” and bashing of the Capitalist system. These card issuers are just dumb enough to play along.
I am losing about $500 per year in rewards now because credit card companies are being forced by Democrats to be charitable towards those that are kicking and screamng that they shouldn’t be forced to pay their credit card bills......
Since credit card companies routinely have to write off almost as much in credit card charges as they receive in interest, where else are they going to cut costs other than in my rewards?

Credit card companies are pissing off their customers by canceling their accounts for a variety of bad reasons. A bunch of schmucks in those companies next year will be charged with getting more customers. Good luck with that, schmucks.
Exactly, Buckeye. The liberals deliberately make problems worse so tehy can “ride to the rescue” and get more people hooked on their “help.” The ONLY thing they care about is empowering themselves.
