ABC News has learned that First Lady Michelle Obama is heading to Copenhagen, Denmark, next month to help seal the deal with the International Olympic Committee for Chicago’s 2016 Olympic bid.
From October 1 through October 9, the 121st IOC Session & XIII Olympic Congress meets. The King of Spain and the President of Brazil are going as well to try to help bids made by Madrid and Rio de Janeiro, respectively.
There has been pressure on the administration to send the president to help close, though sending a world leader to such a thing is not without some risk, if the bid is rejected.

White House Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett—who was part of the Chicago 2016 Committee before joining the Obama administration—is also going to Copenhagen.

Daley and the Chicago aldermen—in a UNANIMOUS VOTE—have put Chicago taxpayers on the hook for any cost overruns, should the City of Consummate Corruption get the Olympic bid. Daley and his cronies will be in charge of passing out hundreds of millions in Olympic contracts. Ya think: 1.)there might be just a wee bit of corruption in the process? 2.) taxpayers will be making Daley buddies even wealthier?

After Oprah's splashy takeover of Michigan Avenue for her extravagant season opener, yesterday, blasting praise for the city, and the extreme push the BHO crew is applying, I fear it will happen. She had an earlier interview where she was asked if she'd be going to Copenhagen for the Olympic panel decision next month, and she said if she was asked, she'd do anything she could to help.
The push, and I'm sure the secret deals are seriously on, despite the millions of residents who do not want them in the murder capital of the USA.
