Recently Investor’s Business Daily published the results of a poll that found that an astonishing 45% of doctors polled would rather quit the medical field than suffer under Obamacare.

This is in stark contrast to recent news that a majority of physicians support Obama’s healthcare “reform” policies. IBD disputes this poll and also points out that a recent L.A. Times story that trumpets the American Medical Association’s approval of the so-called public option is based on a group that only represents 18% of American doctors.

The major finds of the IBD poll are:

So far that's the ONLY thing he has been successful at.

Have any of you watched “sick around the world”, a pbs frontline episode talking about how healthcare is managed in various industrialized countries? If so, what did you think?

"It's like giving everyone free bus passes, but there are only two buses," Dr. Ted Epperly, president of the American Academy of Family Physicians, told the Associated Press.

And the busses will only be running 3 days a week as to not leave too large of a carbon footprint.... ;)

Actually...this has me thinking about a whole new industry. BLACK MARKET MEDICINE. I say a whole new and very profitable business venture is just waiting in the wings! Doctors, nurses, radiologists, and Specialists who decide to just say no to Obozocare can quietly create a very exclusive “medical” underground and go “off the grid”. For prescription drugs, we can start a Canadian/Mexican alliance. For surgeries we can rent operating & recovery rooms in the black market hospitals that will certainly spring up in a shopping center near you!
Better yet, the prices will be fair and they’ll accept only cash...with no worry about insurance fraud - because there will be no need for insurance. Malpractice lawsuits will not be possible either.

...I’m just sayin’.. criminals been doing stuff like this for years - and the smart one’s never get caught. How hard can it be? A bit cloak and daggerish... but hey, it beats Obobozo’s plan.

There’s more than one way to skin a cat.

You’ve got to fight fire with fire!

And just imagine the type of people who will step in and fill the shortage to get their cut of the government money. People who won’t mind at all herding people through the government healthcare shute like cattle.

Perhaps some would quit but probably not near 45%. Would however make many students change their minds about going into the medical profession. The shortages would be magnified over the next few decades.
