Our national right-wing celebrity Ranger Rich by Rich Tosches
Colorado Springs Independent ^ | 09/18/09 | CIDKauf

Famous conservative author, columnist, blogger and TV talk show guest Michelle Malkin, who lives right here in our village and is of Asian descent, once wrote this: "Here are some of the racial epithets I've been called in my lifetime: Chink. Gook. Jap. Nigger. Slant eyes. Dog-eater."

Those are tough words, I know. Personally, I've only had to endure moron, limey, hack, uneducated Bolivian shepherd, Polack, stinky Frenchman, Texan, land-lubber, sod-buster and lazy bastard.

As you might guess, the one that cuts deepest is Texan.

Anyway, I began with such harsh words so you'd understand the tough life endured by ultra-right-wing scribe Malkin, who also wrote an actual book saying the U.S. internment camps during World War II were a terrific idea and the 112,000 Japanese nationals and Japanese-Americans who were forcibly relocated to the camps should stop their damn whining.

Of course, her tough-life angle is offset somewhat by the hundreds of thousands of dollars she has pocketed by writing these books — books purchased in huge numbers by Americans who believe President Barack Obama was born in Africa and First Lady Michelle Obama should shut her doggone yap and get back in the kitchen.

Introducing our Colorado Springs "village idiot" that has misquoted everyone in this article, as far as I can tell, and thought I let some of my fellow freepers make a few comments to the Ranger before I e-mail him this thread. Sorry Rich that it shouldn't be too long before the Independent in print is gone forever. Enjoy.

The Independent is one of those free tabloid style things that you can find in a few retail stores around town. I don’t know how often it is printed. I doubt very much that this clown is read by more than a couple of dozen people. The paper is usually picked up for its restaurant and entertainment guides (when it is picked up at all - it seems to me that the stacks sitting around unread far outnumber the ones that are left lying on tables or counters after readers abandon them). I doubt very much that anyone would ever think of it as a source for intelligent commentary.

I did learn one thing (assuming what he writes contains even a grain of truth) - I had no idea Michelle Malkin lived in the Springs. I’ll have to look her up sometime and commend her on her work.

This article was written before he went to the book signing. The only accurate statement he made is that the guy Mike, standing near me, responded to his question “What question would you ask Michele when you get up to have her sign your book?” ..and he did say “WIll you marry me”? The actual question asked was “are there any pain killers you would recommend that I take while reading this book?” and she replied “blood pressure medicine”.

I suspect like most Leftist propagandists, this author simply made up the above claim. Would like to see him try and source this.

He certainly hasn’t read “In Defense of Internment”, and YES I would like to see him source it.

The first words I look for in ignorant leftist screeds like this are: "I haven't read the book but..."

That's everything you need to know about them. This jerk sets new records for unfunny, uninformed and probably unwashed.

plus it occurs to me that I must have meant “all gals should just be quiet about things like politics” especially since I’m standing in line for 90 minutes to a get a book I just bought signed by a political pundit that is FEMALE! Like I said, the article was written before he even went to the book signing... just look in the mirror Rich, if you are looking for the true “village idiot”.
