For all you "Jamie & Claire" addicted FReepers anxiously awaiting the new book: I ordered "Echo" from Walmart online last week. The UPS guy just delivered it!!!! For some reason, I thought it didn't come out til tomorrow??? Oh well, I'm thrilled to have gotten mine early.
OMG, a lover of La Gabaldon on the Free Republic! Wonders will never cease! I’ve been a fan for a long time - but the last book, not so much. Was REALLY bored the other day so logged on to her site and read that “Echo” was due soon. Congrats on getting yours! Will pick up the last one AGAIN, slog through it diligently and order “Echo” after that. Also, loved seeing some of Gabaldon’s interviews on You Tube - have you done that? She’s very interesting...

I wasn’t a big fan of “Snow & Ashes” either - too many of the same “catastrophe’s”. I just finished re-reading the entire series leading up to this book. No, I haven’t seen any of her interviews, I’ll have to look for them.
I actually liked Ashes better than the Fiery Cross. You really do need to finish it. Brianna isn’t nearly as whiny :)
I have seen some of Diana’s interviews...she’s terrific. And she does have a most unusual voice.
