Bush's mistake was to fight this war with compassion. If you can not win a war in your term you better not start it. Only two options exist in Afghanistan and are as follows:

Send enough troops to win the war and win it.
Declare defeat and leave.
If he does neither brave men in our army and marines will continue to die for no good reason. President Obama must make a choice. Win or leave. If he does not make the decision he is an evil man with the blood of better men than he on his hands.
