NCLR (National Council Of La Raza) PRAISES BANK OF AMERICA’S CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE LATINO COMMUNITY
It is thus not surprising that Bank of America has been a major supporter of some of NCLR’s most important and successful initiatives. For example, it was a critical early investor in the NCLR Homeownership Network (NHN)—which currently operates in 50 sites—and today supports NHN’s major foreclosure prevention and mitigation effort.
It was also the anchor investor in the Raza Development Fund, an NCLR support corporation and the nation’s largest Hispanic Community Development Financial Institution. Since 1999, Raza Development Fund has provided $400 million in financing to affordable housing, education, health, and other efforts.

Bank suspends dealings with ACORN housing entity - 4 hours ago
Citibank, another bank receiving the letter from the three House Republicans, said in a statement that “we are deeply concerned about the recently released videos of frontline ACORN staff.” Citibank said it looks forward to the findings of an independent auditor and a timely resolution of the matter.
