They would be the first ones shot. No way would any invader let them sit at the table of the leaders and people who would actually be running the country. If the Chinese did invade and take over, no way would they let some stupid politico wield any power; if he’s too weak to defend his own country, he is obviously too weak to lead the new regime or be part of it.

If he backstabs his own people, he’s not trustworthy, along with his cronies. Again, traitors are not trustworthy, even to the new regime. Same with Hollywood. All the actors and actresses would be herded into the studios for propaganda with their kids held in ‘daycare’ while they film. If the actors step out of line, their kids would be taken until the actor toes the line. If he doesn’t still, he gets shot.

I really do wish the Hollywood idiots would realize this and stop supporting a regime that would reduce them to sex playthings for the elite and propaganda tools. If I mysel were a dictator I would have the actresses sleep with the sons of the elite and shoot them if they try to pull anything like trying to undermine my regime.

As for the rest of the backstabbing liberals, I’d have them shot and their possessions confiscated to pay for the regime and also give them to loyalists who have ensured my position. As for the rest of the citizenry, I’d go easy on them except when they break the law. I’d also reinstate the death penalty in each state whether the stupid hippies liked it or not.

While we continue to consolidate and expand our beachhead, we have unloaded more and more fast-reaction and mobile infantry forces with robust anti-aircraft defenses.

We have established our first airbase at Houston Hobby and are setting up an additional airbase near Beaumont. We have bombed and neutralized your Army base in western Louisiana and the former SAC base in Bossier is unusable/cratered.

Since you have no missile defenses within your own borders, and I had anticipated your potential retaliation, I have now launched 6 more missiles from my expanding base along the Texas coast, with EMP warheads that will detonate above the NE, SE, central, SW, W, NW portions of your country.

The US can now no longer function as a civilized society. You cannot operate serve, supply or maintain your infrastructure or your citizenry ... or your military for that matter, since your roads and rails are now effectively impassable.

YOUR needs are now your own citizens. YOUR families.

BY the way, check San Francisco, Oakland specifically. We just started unloading there. You lost San Diego to us four hours ago. But we took HEAVY losses there, as the USMC was able to mount fierce local opposition to our attempts to establish a beachhead AND destroyed or damaged 40% of our vessels/cargo. Organized and effective military resistance by the USMC and local citizens persists in southern California.

You will lose the entire western half of the US militarily within 4 weeks on current course.

OH, since you replied with nuclear weapons, we just obliterated DC, Camp David, Langley and Norfolk. Charleston and Jacksonville were disabled by EMP.

A few thoughts on some parts of your response...

All shipping is ordered to stay 100 miles outside U.S. territorial waters until the crisis is over. Vessels ignoring this order will be considered enemy warships and will be sunk without warning.

Which will be dealt with in short order, giving us air superiority to attack your forces.

OK, but your bases are just as easy to put out of commission. No airbases for you for very long, all your assets destroyed along with your bases.

Bad move on your part. An EMP attack of this scale, in my opinion, justifies a full scale nuclear response, however, in the interests of humanity I will limit my response to a full scale EMP attack on your country along with the destruction of ALL military bases on your territory. If we were forced to escalate by future events, I think we would be delivering several hundred warheads in the first salvo and hundreds more on followup strikes, with civilian, economic and infrastructure targets now in play.

I dare say that you will encounter organized and effective resistance by local citizens all over the country. (I saw somewhere that U.S. civilians have more guns and ammo than the Chinese and Indian armies combined).

The entire western half of the US?. All million or so square miles of it?. I daresay you barely have enough forces to hold more than a handful of our urban areas.

Which means neither can your forces. Bad move if your objective is to occupy and hold territory only for it to turn out you are subject to the same aftermath of the EMPs you set off - just where are you going to pump your gas from?.
