Why the Obama story failed to bring home the Olympics
Creating Orwellian Worldview ^ | 10/5/09 | Alaphiah

The International Olympic Committee has been listening to President Soetoro’s recent accounts of America and they agree with him America is not what it should be.

President Soetoro spent the first few months of his presidency reaffirming all of the world’s most negative feelings toward America and they heard him. (see previous post)(see 2:16min video)

For years Democrats and Liberals have been attempting to undermine America’s position as world leading super power. Former Democrat President Clinton even forecasted that this day would come, a day when America would not be the pre-eminent military, economic and political power. (see related story)

America is now an “also ran” among the world powers due to decades of outsourcing American jobs for low wages and outsourcing American technology to China or any other countries that had low wage labor and/or lots of capital.

If this comes to be Clinton and his treacherous party will be the reason.

A bit too much corporation-bashing and protectionism and ignorant populism in this post.

Yes, Obama made an ass out of himself, and yes, Obama deserved this humiliation -— but, as conservatives, we do not have to join in with the commies, and bash corporations, do we?

I don’t think this was about America at all. It’s far more basic than that. The product and the salesman were both lousy. Chicago? Why on earth would anyone want to have the Olympics in a failed city known for slums, crime, and corruption. Of all the cities in the U.S. Chicago should have been one of the last chosen. Now given that Chicago was the product, did the salesman present a solid case as to why Chicago would be the best choice? Of course not. His pitch wasn’t even about Chicago. It was about himself and why he is so wonderful and should get his way. The outcome was preordained.

This moron spends eight months on his apology tours, and pointing out everything he see’s wrong with this country and then thinks they are going to award the Olympics on the strength of his personality. Talk about narcissism.

How do you get a 20,000 crowd on a workday in Chicago? Answer: city workers and goonions get a paid day. Wow - talk about astro-turf.

I recall shortly after Clinton left office, he was giving his first post-presidential speech (Georgetown U, IIRC).

Not long after, Albright was also giving a speech in Haiti or some Carribean country.

Both made remarks that were similar and, I thought, rather astounding.

Both indicated basically that we needed ‘to play nice’ with 3rd-world countries, because our supremacy would not last and we would one-day be one of those 3rd-world countries.

==

It seems that many recent administrations of both parties have that as a goal for this nation.

Sorry but I am a Conservative yet I realize that it is Corporations that have sold out America for usurious profits.

Whether you realize it or not everything wrong in America today can be traced directly back to what corporations have done.

Sorry those are just the facts. I pray for Corporations that are loyal to America by what I’ve seen are Corporation that are only loyal to the dollar no matter where they get it.
