I mean other forums let you select and upload pictures directly from your harddrive. That would take up large amounts of storage space...at least, a lot more than is used now.
When we link to alternate storage via html, it doesn't tax FR servers at all....mostly.
Jim and John would need to add a lot more storage to accommodate us uploading pics to their servers.
