Here is video of Neil Cavuto saying GOP Gubernatorial Candidate Chris Christie's exchange with Don Imus yesterday will be a "deal-changer" in his New Jersey race against Democrat Jon Corzine.

Christie was on with Imus yesterday and joked about his weight, which has been attacked by Corzine's campaign. Christie made fun of his own weight, but also said Corzine should "Man up" about it. "If you say I’m fat, I’m fat. Let’s go. Let’s talk about it.”

Below is the full interview Christie did with Don Imus . . . (VIDEOS)

I saw a little bit of this last night while I was assembling the Halloween treat bags. Christie said he was already helping the economy: “Dunkin Donuts? IHOP? Those people need jobs too.”

I don’t know how good of a governor he’d be, but I LIKE him.

Basically, Christie made light of his weight throughout the interview, which Cavuto believes really turns the tables on the Corzine campaign, who have tried to make Christie’s weight an issue.

I think Cavuto could be right if this gets wide (no pun intended!) play in New Jersey. This shows Christie’s sense of humor and that he is a real person. His challenge to Corzine to “Man up” could be a really effective theme over these last few days before the election.

obama sent his people to NJ to “help” corzine. We need an SEIU and ACORN watch at all polling places.

Basically Christie told Corizine to “Man-up” and come forward to discuss being fat...... Corizine is hiding behind double entendres....in reference to heavy people.....

THAT was a great interview. It also shoved it in the face of the aristocratic Corizine and was so down to earth!

A Iman ping.

Sounds like Imus has come over to the right side (now).

Neil Cavuto jokes himself about his love for Ho-Hos (No not his wife or a basketball team).

“We need an SEIU and ACORN watch at all polling places.”

Indeed. Not just polling places, but car trunks, suitcases, etc., where hundreds of ACORN-prepared ballots can be “discovered.”

That's key to winning, especially in NJ. Also, the GOP needs to send lawyers to watch the absentee ballots, tons of fraud there.

That reminded me that I miss those two doofuses.

I always found myself laughing along with them.

Good interview.

Christie to Corzine:

“I may be fat, but you’re stupid. . . . . I can go on a diet.”

You know, there’s an awful lot of overweight voters in N.J. (and other states as well, of course), and knowing the pain of being overweight, I would think they would be very empathetic with Christie. And obesity is not a partisan issue. Plus it’s a very mean thing to do, to attack obese people, many of which struggle with this issue all their lives. Corzine’s actions basically drove a big percentage of the electorate to his opponent, including many from his own party. In fact, this may be the straw that breaks his back, and Christie is very, very smart to exploit this issue. It generates sympathy, it makes him look very human, shows he has a sense of humor, and shows he isn’t a self-important ass. In other words, he’s the opposite of the droids that voters are fed up with.
