More Bad Polling News For Obama-The Economy is ALMOST His Fault
Rasmussen/ The Lid ^ | 11/03/09 | The Lid

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that almost half of all voters would NOT vote for President Obama if he was running for election today, 49% say they would be unlikely to vote for the president’s reelection vs. the 45% of adults say they would be at least somewhat likely to vote for Obama if he was up for reelection right now. Obama carried 53% of the vote nationally over Republican candidate John McCain’s 46% in last November’s election. Among the key independent bloc , those not at all likely to vote for the president’s reelection have a two-to-one advantage over those who would be very likely to support him.

The higher degree of skepticism about the president may be due in part to the finding that 48% of Americans say they are doing worse economically since Obama’s election. Just 16% say they are doing better, while 32% say they’re doing about the same.

Fifty-five percent (55%) of men say they are doing worse economically, but just 41% of women say the same. Seventy-two percent (72%) of Republicans and 53% of unaffiliateds say they’re doing worse, while a plurality (45%) of Democrats say things are about the same.

President Obama is losing his economic "crutch." Rasmussen also reports that 49% of Americans still blame the economic situation on former President Bush. But 45% now say the poor economy was caused more by Obama’s policies. Just a month ago, 55% blamed Bush, while only 37% blamed Obama.

Hang on.

He won something like 52% of the vote in 2008, right? Since then, unemployment has almost doubled, the deficit has quadrupled, he's pushing a healthcare bill that few people want, and millions of Americans have demonstrated at Tea Parties against his policies.

And 49% of the people are thinking they wouldn't vote for him again? That's it? A 3% drop?

BS

Almost?

He quadrupled spending and nothing to show for it except his buddies on wall street, banks, and Unions are happy!

Millions upon millions of Americans became unemployed, and once they do, if they do get a job, we all have to pay off the huge taxes that are coming (after the congressional elections of course)

Obamao has claimed the economy now, not because he’s grown a pair, but because he is buying into the Keynesian propaganda his commie cronies are passing around. The creeps can’t stop misery index from climbing, not even by blaming it on Bush. They own this mess. Obamao can put down his mop, and start swimming.
