(I say "goofy acting" because, in view of the occasion, the lawyer shouldn't have been grinning so broadly into the camera as he was introduced;further, his tone throughout the clip is too relaxed and conciliatory.)
What struck me most was Johnson's repeated claim that speculation about the mass murders at Ft. Hood having a religiously-motivated background were "dangerous" ("Dr." Phil chimed in, saying that the reference to another, similar attack perpetrated by a soldier with an Islamic surname was "irresponsible").
Johnson is thus saying that it is not "dangerous" to speculate about Post-Traumatic Syndrome contributing to the mass murder, but that it is "dangerous" (read: morally offensive, unethical) to even only SPECULATE that religious hate was part of the motivation.
I guess that Ms. Johnson doesn't hold freedom of thought and freedom of speech in very high regard.
(It also bothered me that Ms. Johnson said "I AM a P.O.W." rather than, e.g., "I am a former P.O.W.")
Ms. Johnson, a former food specialist, should be thankful for even being allowed to converse / debate with college-educated experts.
Regards,
UPDATE: It looks like the Good Army Major Doctor was trying to contact Al Quada all along and the MOSQUE was loaded with the islamo-terrorists.
