The unfortunate fact of the matter is that Islam allows you to lie while taking an Oath, which essentially means that anyone Islamic in the US Military has the potential to be deceptive. Islam is the only religion that I am aware of that, if you practice it devoutly enough, you are at odds with freedom, liberty and any other form of government other than Sharia.
