This is an extended post on this story that is just starting to break. The MSM has kept away from it, but it now seems that it is becoming so huge, they just cannot ignore it. The MSM’s first foray into reporting on this was along the lines of ‘those rotten hackers’ committing such a dastardly deed, hacking into a reputable establishment, and into emails especially. It seems odd that when hackers have found juicy content on other things before this , the MSM has jumped all over it, but now, this disagrees with the line they have been pursuing for so long, so they either ignore it, or play it down. The Blogs have been all over this, and as more comes out, and as it starts to look more and more reliable, they just have to pick up on it. This will prove to be a damning indictment aimed squarely at those who have for so long pushed this baseless argument, to the point that the huge snowball rolling down the hill has become an avalanche. It would seem that avalanche has reached the point where a huge heating device might just start to melt that avalanche.

Judging by the MSM reaction, I would say they knew it was BS along along. They’re just mad one of their leftist Holy Grails was exposed to be lies.
AFTER DOWN LOADING THE ENTIRE 61 MEG OF FILES I THINK THERE WILL BE MANY MANY WEEKS OF REVELATIONS ABOUT THE SCIENCE COMMUNITY THAT WE DONT LIKE AND NEVER THOUGHT THEY WOULD DO. THEY HAVE ALL TURNED OUT LIKE THE POLITICIANS THEY SERVE.

Initially I believed this was a skeptic’s prank, used to deflect from the Copenhagen meeting. But now mainstream news is saying they have dissected enough from the emails to establish there has been a mass cover up, many of the emails talk of disclosing other CRU scientist’s findings that do not match their agenda. Too many emails from many different scientists with incriminating content. Asides from the personal emails, the content of the actual documents and data show the earth’s real temperature which does not show warming. Looks like they won’t be in a position to impose a green/carbon footprint tax.
BBC are still keeping their silence, probably waiting for them to sift through all of the leaked documentation as the personal emails themselves will not cut the mustard so to speak but the manipulation of the data will.
This truly is the story of the decade.

The MSM can go on about ‘those dirty hackers’ all they want but this is a veritable tsunami. Ain’t nothin going to stop the onslaught now.
