When Keith Ellison ran for and was elected to congress in the 2006 mid-term election he was the darling of the PC world and the Democratic leadership -- America's First Muslim Congressman a perfect example of the diversity of this nation. Despite the fact that there were warning signs about his "friends".
Soon after his election he joined with the most powerful woman in the world, Nancy Pelosi to try and create a federal law against profiling. Its no wonder the PC police loved him. And the fact that he has associated with Anti-Semitic organizations didn't matter. Nor does his association with the domestic terrorist group, CAIR matter either. In only three years as a congressman, Congressman Ellison has become the Islamists main man in Congress:

Hopefully 2010 will make Ellison the last Islamist voted into office. I would imagine BO’s latest antics in regard to Gitmo and the NY trials will help keep the vermin out.
It depends on when the circuses start. By the next election, will the trial be in full swing? Will crony/union scandals for the Illinois prison buildout to convert it into a Gitmo substitute Supermax facility have hit the public eye? The decisions alone won't have as much impact as their effects. If their consequences are in the public eye, then they'll get the attention they deserve.

Do you really think Ellison is the only elected muslim in Washington?????
More importantly, why hasn’t the mullahtocracy issued a fatwa against this apostate moslem? Didn’t take the ayatollah Khomeini long to launch one against Salman Rushdie, did it? Could it be that they know a kindred spirit?
