10 Reasons Why I CANNOT Support Sarah Palin For President (Not What U Think)
Citizen Palin 4 President ^

Posted on 11/27/2009 3:57:34 PM PST by MaxCUA

1. She is a woman and we've never had a woman president! Of course, before our current president, we've never had a black president either; but that's different.

2. She's pro-abortion, and even late-term abortion! No, wait - I believe that's someone currently in the office who holds those views.

3. Does she have something to hide? I wonder, since we can't seem to find out anything about her grades and her accomplishments while attending college! Oh boy, I'm wrong again! I believe that's also someone currently in office that I'm thinking about.

4. She doesn't have the background or experience necessary for the job. She wasn't tutored in politics by the Chicago machine, and she certainly can't organize like someone who can cut their teeth as a community organizer and lawyer for A.C.O.R.N.

etc..

The biggest problem IMO is she quit.

I'd say the biggest problem is that you're not really paying attention

Check into the reasons she did resign and ask yourself would you have done the same thing.

If that’s your opinion then why would vote for her? You obviously don’t believe her, or TRUST her judgment!

She gave very clear reasons for why she quit. And IMO, she did the absolutely brilliant thing. Other than stepping down because the ObaMao moonbats would’ve been dogging her every second while she served...anybody that’s ever been shot at knows that when you’re the target, you have to take your body out of the firing range or be dead.

Obama didn’t quit, but he barely showed up for work. It’s at least a wash.

The biggest problem IMO is she quit. Done deal. No go after that. I like her and will vote for her but it did happen.

Read the book.

I like her. I voted for her. The blind ones on this thread are the people who cannot acknowledge the ‘quitters’. Flame me for speaking reality, but she quit. It upset me.

Let me ask you a question: Would you have supported Governor Palin for President had she remained in office, fighting all the ethics charges and letting the state business being held in limbo?

By the time Dec. 2010 rolled around, when her term was done, Sarah would have been so radioactive that her political career would have been virtually destroyed. All of the people who are now saying she quit and has "no experience" - the liberal media, the DNC/Dems, RINOs, and beltway conservatives - would be running around saying she's "scandal-plagued" after only one term (even after a full term they would still say she has no experience).

Yes, she did quit. Call it what you want but either way her critics will never cut her slack anyway. But using it as a negative doesn't make it so.

Nice conversation/flame about Palin. I'd like her to win but her supporters are so fanatic they can see no imperfection. WTF?

She is great. She’s got my vote. Period. I want her to win, that is why I bring these issues up now.

Standard troll behavior: “I like her/would vote for her BUT” followed by anti-Palin DNC talking point.

Now, I looked at your posting history and you clearly are NOT a troll. Doesn’t change my (and clearly other freepers’) reaction to that meme.

Nope, not a done deal...want proof - PROOF??? Rasmussen has her within the margin of error with Obama (Mitt and Huck too). Rasmussen was the most accurate known polling company predicting Obama’s victory. So, no, not done deal at all, only to you and those at Huffpost.

Hey, I'll be the first to say she quit. And you know what? I don't care. I honestly don't give a rat's @ss because she explained her reasons why, she has a capable Lt Gov who is continuing her agenda, she is kicking the Left's @ss on Facebook, op-eds, and the book tour, and Naked News Emperor produced video proof that leftist bloggers in cahoots with Obama tried to hamstring her with the phony ethics violations.

If you don't support Palin, just be honest and say so - but don't think that her quitting is some type of blemish or negative that's preventing you from supporting her because it's clearly not.

Grow up, there is a stigma to quitters and it needs to be addressed now. Blame the messenger. Enjoy flaming me...

Wrong. What we don't like is disingenuous debate. Seminar callers who say they would vote for her BUT... she quit. As if her quitting is stopping her from going on a best-selling book tour and still being included in hypothetical 2012 polling.

While Palin isn't perfect, you damn straight we're fanatic about her.

I am an emotional, knee-jerk, frothing at the mouth supporter of Palin!

She’s great. The criticisms I state are meant for informative purposes. Believe what I say or the responses, your choice.

ROFL. You mean the thousands of people freezing in line for hours waiting for Palin to show up didn't get the memo that she quit? So the liberal media and beltway RINOs won't vote for her now like they SURELY were going to do if she had just been a good Republican and let the Dems destroy her right?

and it needs to be addressed now.

Where were you the 4th of July weekend? In a hole? It was all over the news, discussed by the pundits and blogosphere to death, and there were dozens of threads here on FR about it. How much more do you want to talk about it?

Blame the messenger. Enjoy flaming me

Look, why can't you be honest here? Is her quitting really a liability to her? She is on a book tour and is at the top of every 2012 poll, and she is the only Republican who can attract the grassroots. So please explain to me how her quitting is bad for her?
