Poor President Obama, he just can't bring himself to acknowledge the surge worked better than he and other skeptics, thought it would? I just don't understand why Senator Obama is being such a baby about the surge. Why can't he admit the obvious? It worked.
Even as recently his Afghanistan speech last week:
Today, after extraordinary costs, we are bringing the Iraq war to a responsible end. We will remove our combat brigades from Iraq by the end of next summer, and all of our troops by the end of 2011. That we are doing so is a testament to the character of our men and women in uniform. Thanks to their courage, grit and perseverance, we have given Iraqis a chance to shape their future, and we are successfully leaving Iraq to its people.
Hey Mr President, it wont hurt you to say it. Go ahead give it a try....the SURGE WORKED. Go ahead say it, "Bush Was Right" about the surge.
Today we found out that the President can say it in private. On Fox News General Petraeus let the flying pig out of the bag:
