Despite a massive budget deficit, House Democrats pressed ahead Thursday with a huge spending measure combining major spending boosts for domestic agencies and foreign aid with more than 5,000 back-home projects sought by lawmakers.

Hell yah, I am sure they can do it, and I have no doubt they will continue to try. Bankrupt the US, reboot, Presto! socialism. Vote them all out. It is the only way to be sure...

Even if the GOP can at least take back the House next year, I don't believe for a moment that anything will change. Yes, the out of control spending may be halted somewhat. But we have enough traitorous Republicans (moderates) that will stand in favor of the status quo that I doubt anything meaningful will be accomplished. And Obama would still be there to veto anything he doesn't like, so the end result will be "SNAFU".
