From Naval Aviator, Commander Jerry Wilson

We lived in California during the winters of 2007 and 2008. We became addicted to Fox News and watched O'Reilly and Hannity and Colmes every night.. When we got back home, we upgraded our cable to get Fox. I watched the Presidential campaign very closely. Initially because I thought the Democrats would nominate Hillary Clinton and then in astonishment when they chose an even more hard-left candidate. All of last year I told everyone I could that Obama was not a Democrat, he was a Marxist. He is far to the left of any European leader and even our far left party, the NDP.

I read Saul Alinsky when I was in University. I studied him and his writing carefully. When Bill Ayers and his idiot wife were bombing and killing people at random in the Weather Underground,, Weather Underground and the Black Panthers were closely allied. I read David Horowitz's account of changing from a Marxist to a conservative after seeing that the government was afraid to prosecute members of the Panthers for murdering his personal assistant. He suddenly understood the evil that Marxism really was.

The real crime was allowing the Republican party to select McCain as our candidate in the first place. As pissed as I am that Obama was elected we really have to accept some of the blame for allowing the party to offer up such a horrible candidate to run against him.

I’ll say here what I said at the site after reading the letter:

I could have written this, from beginning to end, it so lines up with how I saw, and now see this. But I would not have articulated it as well.

“we really have to accept some of the blame for allowing the party to offer up such a horrible candidate to run against him.”

I can’t think of a candidate the left would not have slammed and tried to destroy. Look at what they did to Sarah, who was hugely popular before the campaign. This election belonged to the MSM.

Acorn in New Hampshire elected McCain, and Huckster helped.

The GOP fell flat on their collective faces by allowing the Rats
to change their primary dates so they could select our candidate.

I see this happening again in 2012 if the GOP doesn't get an overhaul.

Please correct me if I'm completely wrong.

The left did no more than McRino did to Sarah. I still say the GOP didn't want this admin. Be it they knew the recession was going to hit hard or they just wanted away from the Bush hate, but something was up.

Agree. We like to think that the MSM is a dinosaur and that the power has magically transferred to the Internet. It is not so. The MSM chooses our politicians for us.

Nobody has done anything to Sarah.

She is a formidable, and strong candidate.

I’ve often thought the Tea Party protests should focus some effort on the primary process as well. (Same old process, same old candidates.)

I agree. But once that happened some of us tried to convince the anti McCain people that please vote but go for the lesser of the evil. Anyone could to see King Obama was and always will be a hard core communists but had their head in the sand. His hope and change gave him away. What was wrong was the McCain haters that would not vote for him. Well, we got what this kind of thinking gave us. Communism and will take generations if ever to get back. Guess many were not taught that sometimes in life you have to select the lesser of the two evils if those are the only choice you have.

And so did the Mitt Romney.

They both played their own brand of Identity politics and obuscated and lied about their lack of conservatism on many levels. In fact, I'd say Mitt Romney was the worst liar of this last election.

Well it would have taken a charismatic candidate to defeat Obama. Someone that would have been able to expose this guy for what he was while conveying a positive and consistent message themself.

Go check out the whole article at the link ... excellent article.

We are NOW in a world of hurt, and it is going to become a tsunami ... Obama has a torrent of bills coming, just like the health care bill, immigration, Cap and Trade, energy, taxation policies, education, seizures of water rights, etc.,... give to the poor and destroy the middle class, give
huge monies to the rich and themselves first.

God help us in our day, in Jesus name, Amen.

I was one such on these boards that said, vociferously, I would Not vote McCain. In my opinion, it was a choice between going over the cliff ata brisk stroll, or going over with jet engines strapped to our backsides. One part of me thought it would be great to have us go over the edge while the Dems were at the helm.

Bottom line, I did vote McCain. There was no way I could vote for Obama, and no vote at all was a vote for him. So, thankfully, enough people here in TN thought that way. Too bad that wasn’t nationwide. But here we are, going over the edge, with jet engines on afterburner. God help us all. Pray for this country and its leaders, as well as those that remember our free republic. May it return.

IMHO...they intend “to put it to us” .......between now and November....and unless we all become remarkably active in policing our local precincts for the 2010 elections.....we WILL be strangers in our own land at the end of it all.

Well, I expect the Rats to play the same cards in 2012 because they don't have a primary.
Unless they want Obamao out. They'll choose the least electable
candidate for the GOP unless we have a super majority turnout.
