How the ACLU tried to steal Christmas… again

You always read about it in the paper, you see it on the news, in fact some deny that it actually happens, but this year the ACLU came to town and did try to steal Christmas.

Recently, our Nativity Scene and Menorah were removed from the Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania Courthouse Lawn. These Christmas displays have been used for the past 20+ years without issue; well that’s until a group identifying themselves as “The NEPA Freethought Society” decided to make an issue of it.

This group claims their purpose is to: To serve as a watchdog, support system, and advocate on behalf of atheists/freethinkers who are victimized by discrimination. Sadly enough, this group IS the definition of discrimination and is the farthest thing from somebody being victimized. They are nothing more than a handful of snot-nosed, intolerant, crybaby progressives that want to promote the religion of secular humanism.

A win for the good guys of Christmas! Sorta...

"Christmas can be celebrated in the school room with pine trees, tinsel and reindeer, but there must be no mention of the man whose birthday is being celebrated. One wonders how a teacher would answer if a student asked why it was called Christmas." — Ronald Reagan

Hey ACLU, you are un-American, not very Civil, infringing on my Liberties, and exemplifying the worst stereotypes of a Union.

To everyone, like it or not, take it or leave it: Merry Christmas!

May JESUS whose birth we celebrate bless and keep you and yours this CHRISTmas and the coming New Year.

I have terrible luck creating You Tube links, so if some one else can would they please, this song is just beautiful.

It really needs a graphic to go with it.

A sign in front of one of our local businesses:

"MERRY CHRISTMAST TO THE ACLU", love it.

Now if the ACLU and all their ilk really cared, they would not take the Christmas time off from work. If they don't believe in this, they can't believe in what their time off represents. They would have to honestly take it to the final logical conclusion, stay on the job while we celebrate the BIRTH OF JESUS.

I think anytime the ACLU forces people to take down their Christmas displays, those displays should be replaced with a very big sign with both the names and the pictures of all the people responsible for having it taken down.

And that sign should be put up each and every year at Christmas time to forever remind everyone who it was that was so small minded that they would go out of their way to try to ruin everyone else's Christmas.

If you don't like the ACLU I wrote a Christmas song a few years back just for them ... you might like it :)

"ACLU Christmas"

That was my next step BUT... The NEPA Freethought Society locked their site down. Said it once I’ll say it again. Cowards!
