Governor Perry offers little, late.
WHARTON, TX While Texans prepared to celebrate the birth of Christ, the U.S. Senate moved us one step closer to nationalized healthcare. As Washington D.C. continues to force this unwanted medicine, Texans have remained steadfast in our resistance mounting increasing calls for legislative and executive action here at home.
Unfortunately, as has become his pattern, Governor Perry does little more than posture for the media spotlight.

“said Debra Medina”
With all due respect, I admit the shortcomings of Governor “Rick”, but am yet skeptical about Mrs. Medina’s statements.
Watched the video of the Austin Tea Party. She has the fire in the belly for sure, but I am left cold by open talk of Secession (at this point). I want no part of Secession, I want it all back and the Commies in DC out on their butts, hunted like dogs.
IT IS TIME to DownSize DC! Let the chips fall where they may, but it is not time to cut and run.
How likely is that to come to pass? In any case Secession isn't up to the governor.
Medina is the only conservative in this race, support her.
Seriously, it’ll be between Perry & KBH, and I’ll take ‘Pretty Boy’ Rick over KBH all day long.
REMEMBER THIS, TEXANS:
Feds Have Built Only 32 Miles of 700 Mile Double-Border Fence Originally Mandated by Congress
One reason DHS has been able to do this is an amendment that Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R.-Texas) slipped into an omnibus appropriations bill that Congress passed on December 18, 2007. Hutchisons amendment put a loophole in the fence law that allowed the secretary of Homeland Security not to build the fence Congress had mandated the year before.

REMEMBER THIS WHEN YOU VOTE FOR GOVERNOR
Not taking a chance on Medina.
She’s been married to an hispanic for over 20 yrs.
Who knows where her loyalties REALLY lie?
Race is not an issue, on this or anything else.
There were hispanics who fought inside the Alamo, beside the Gringo’s.
My son-in-law is 1/2 hispanic and I could not be more proud of him is he were my own son.
But Allegiance to Mexico via Cultural Bigotry is another matter. I have no test that will expose that.
I admit to being a Cultural Bigot, but not a racial bigot.
Texas has always had a very large Mexican population, and many of these Mexicans have contributed greatly to our history and culture.
I will proudly vote for Debra Medina for governor, if we're given the chance.
oh brother... my husband has been married to an "Hispanic" for close to 20 years... i wonder where his loyalties REALLY lie...
i've actually been an "Hispanic" for over 40 years... i wonder where my loyalties REALLY lie... i should be afraid of myself... somewhere along the line i could be in danger of voting for a liberal...
I did not make a statement that could in any fashion be construed as Racist.
There is a difference in being Hispanic and being a Mexican National.
Some Mexican Citizens are critical of the U.S. But many many more would love to live here in the U.S., because of the freedom we have and the economic opportunity here.
My young assistant at work is from a family that immigrated from Mexico, legally. They are wonderful people, and still have family in Mexico. They travel there pretty often.
Unfortunately they are Democrats, suspect he may be the only one who votes Republican. In some parts of the state party affiliation has a racial overtone. Fact.
I suppose we just have to assume that there will always be bigots among us. Sad, but true.....
Oh dear—did not mean that post for you—meant to change it to Patriot 08 and forgot. Please excuse my blunder..........
You probably don’t want to watch this short video of La Raza members attacking people attending a town hall meeting in Houston, Texas.
The last 2 minutes are really hard to watch...

We not only have to defend ourselves against a treasonous government, but against the scum of Mexican society here illegally!
Nope. Not taking a chance. I’ll stick with ‘ol Rino Rick.
Nope. Not taking a chance. I’ll stick with ‘ol RINO Rick.
such an intelligent and thought-provoking response... i suppose if Governor Perry were married to Hillary Clinton that would be okay with you... after all, she's not Hispanic... my "white" sister-in-law is as huge Obama supporter... and so is her "white" son... perhaps you feel safer with their votes than with mine...
my father, who has been Hispanic all 86 years of his life, is a registered Democrat, and he voted for McCain--not Obama... neither he nor i hold any allegiance to Mexico... after all, we are Americans... born and raised here... and proud of it... i am a right-wing, born again Christian homeschooling mom with above average intelligence... i love that my husband and i are raising two boys who love the United States and all that this country stands for--namely, FREEDOM! i would never want them to judge someone solely on his ethnicity nor his surname... that would only hurt the cause and feed into the left's portrayal of conservatives being small-minded bigots... and that is what you do... please consider helping the conservative movement by keeping your very small-minded comments to yourself...
and hey--stay patriotic... your votes matter to me!
Hey, cool it.
I said “Nothing” derogatory about any racial group. Nor will I.
The last time I heard about Americans having to take a Loyalty Oath was after the Civil War. My ancestors lost that one, and were treated like dogs. Literally burned out of AL during Reconstruction. Went GTT (Gone To Texas). Some were already here, during Republic.
Somehow this has gotten tragically off subject. Lets refocus on the enemy (Lefties).
Forget it.
We have a Muslim slime, a trecherous RINO woman (Hutchison)a woman with questionable loyalties and ‘ol RINO Rick. Not much of a choice, but I (and the rest, I suspect) will stick with RINO Rick.
