Max Baucus Denies Being Blotto on Senate Floor. Take Poll and Tell Us What You Think

Yesterday we posted the video below, of Senator Max Baucus is making a weird rant on the Senate Floor. The Montana Senator is slurring his words and it seems as if he delivered this impassioned speech on the Senate floor a bit "Pickled."

Today, Tyler Matsdorf, spokesman for the Baucus, released the following denial:

"When his friend of 30 years Ted Kennedy, with whom he had fought so hard to provide health care to children, was being used as a cheap foil to oppose health care reform, Senator Baucus gave a passionate defense. Unfortunately, those who want to kill any meaningful reform, turned it into an unfounded, untrue personal smear internet rumor. This is beyond the pale and this type of gutter politics has no place in the public sphere. It is this type of slander that makes Montanans, and Americans, disgusted with the politics as usual in Washington. And what is even more sad is that such a personal attack would be given any validity

Sure looked and sounded like he was sauced, IMO. Of course, there are other prospective reason...illness, stroke, etc. But, I’m putting it down to alcohol.

It’s time to take back the country.

Those asswipes need a drug test and an alcohol test before every vote. The results would be very revealing.
And the idiots continue to vote for them......

So is it “Baucus” or is it “Bacchus”? He isn’t responsible for his last name... but one has to wonder if there isn’t a little cosmic joke going on!

Good thing someone grabbed Max’s keys before he hopped in the car with his new honey and headed across the 14th Street bridge.

If he wasn’t drunk he needs to go into entertainment. He could fill the void left by the death of Foster Brooks

I have never seen this in all my years. To have someone on the floor drunk. IF he was drunk. I do not know for sure but all indications point to it. If he did have a strok or something else then it would be out there. Disgrace all of them. Every single one of them.

This would be a great campaign poster...for whoever runs against him - maybe with an umbrella-equipped taxpayer in the water...
